25 random things about me

This is something that we 'imported' from facebook.

1. Write a "25 random things about me" and post it as a blog.

3. We get to know each other better

We are almost 17000 and we come from 180 different countries and cultures. This can be exciting.

here's mine:

1. I used to have hair

2. There's someone thin living inside me

3. I lost about 1000 Kg during my life, and I gained about 100 Kg more

4. I don't throw old cloths that no longer fit – I tell them: "Wait, I am coming back"

5. I served in the army and hated it (but everyone does)

6. I was a really lousy student and was kicked out of school twice.

7. I got an MBA (and a really good one). I think that MBAs are useless

8. I used to trade bonds, stocks and other financial instruments when Wall Street was still fun

9. I retired 12 years ago

10. I lived in Israel, France, USA, UK and Japan (I am a sushi snob)

11. I visited about 60 other countries

12. I am dying to go to Tibet (but I don't think that I'm very welcome there at the moment)

13. My best friend is Eli Sachs and we've been friends for 40 years

14. I have 2 sons, Joel and Jono, and I love them more with every day that passes – They must have great genes.

15. I love myself, and feel sorry for people who don't love themselves.

16. I love golf and I used to be the only golf writer in Israel

17. I love music but I can't sing and I can't play any instrument which is killing me

18. I am a borderline autistic with a slight dyslexia and certified ADD

19. I live by myself (and I'm loving it)

20. I never felt loneliness, but I know that there aren't many worse feelings than being lonely.

21. I am more lucky than clever

22. I have addictive personality

23. I love cooking (and eating – you probably figured that out) I can eat Chinese food every day

24. I started iPeace and I love it

25. I WILL see peace in my lifetime

26. I believe that FEAR is the root of all evil

I have about 100 more..but my dream about peace is this:

I can tell you about the first things that come to my mind when I close my eyes and think of peace. I see no more wars. I see a time when my grandchildren don't have to spend 3 years of their lives in the army. I see equality and respect between peoples and nations. I see my Arab friends come to visit me at home, I see us going to the beach together. I see myself hanging out with my Lebanese friends in Beirut. But most of all, I see myself being able to get in the car with my dad (who is 87 years old) and 2 sons, and drive to Baghdad, Iraq, through Jordan or Syria. In Baghdad he takes us to the house he was born in, and to all the places he told us so many stories about. There, we close a circle.
These dreams might sound trivial to many, but these simple acts have been denied of so many people in the Middle East.

1) love nature

2) keep a record of my dreams
3) love to be in lonely places...walking in a forest, or in a beach in winter

4) I'm learning to open my heart
5) I enjoy painting and taking photographs
6) I would love to see the world in unity, all, people with people, and people with our environment
7) I love finding spiritual manifestations in our daily life
8) I'm a bit addicted to books and learning and love sharing too
9) I believe that we have to begin changing ourselves and our surroundings...little by little...each act we do, each thought, the way we express our feelings...
10) I live in Argentina, but believe our country for all of us is all the world

21. I have a unique Laugh which everyone knows me by..where ever I go.
22. I hate Gossip and Gossiper..they are really a torne in my site.
23. I have made a commitment in my career to help help people to live passionate purposeful lives
24. I was the President of the Montego Bay/Atlanta Sister Cities Committee for over fourteen years while I was still in Jamaica.
25. I just love cruises and I am praying for the opportunity to be able to do some speaking on ships all ove the globe.

1. I still have long hair, I go singing, sharing, talking, moving and motivating every one I can, each day & night

10. I lived in Morocco, Spain, France, Israel, Geneva and will move soon to Brazil or New-York or maybe not...

11. I visited about 40 other countries and will visit each year, a new one

12. I am dying to go to San Diego (CA) to join one of my sisters. We are four sisters: one is living in Tel-Aviv, one is living in Paris, one is living in San Diego and I live in Geneva.

13. I have great friends, but my son is really my best friend

14. I have 1 son: Luc and I love him but every day that passes,. he grows and will soon take is life on hand.

15. I love myself, and feel sorry for people who don't love themselves.

I love music but I can't play any instrument which is killing me cause I would be able to express all my feelings....which is more difficult to organize with musiciens, as it is about to have magic moments with the public...which canno't be prepared in rehersal...but in creating the conditions and then, share.

19. I live with my son, his girlfriends and for the moment, I am by myself (but not for longer)

I have addictive personality to mankind peace and progress while I know that the world is made of ups and downs....so I run to get to the moments where I can join those who will act, at the good place and good moment. However, today, we don't need to be at the right place: through Internet, any moment is the good one

23. I love cooking (and eating) I can eat Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Mongolian, Cambodian, Moroccan food & more

24. I started B1NATION and Geneva World Peace and I prepared it in my head and heart since I was preparing my birthday on October 6, 1973 at the atomic underground for one evening but stayed there 6 months...as it was the first day of Yom Kippour war, I was in Ashkelon, the Youth Village Nitzanim

25. I WILL see peace in my lifetime cause I work with all the stakeholders of Peace around the world

26. I believe that FEAR is normal, its the way that tells us where is a limit....and then, it depends on us to become a consumer or a builder in this earth...that is the difference.
