25 Things About Me
1. I was born in USA.
2. I am a polio survivor.
3. I am the oldest of two children.
4. I have been outside the US twice, both times to Canada.
5. I dream of seeing other areas of the world.
6. I lost my father at age 15, my first devasting loss.
7. I am grateful for two parents who worked extremely hard to enable me to walk again.
8. I was married for 18 years.
9. I've been divorced for 20 years.
10. I am a survivor.
11. I have been blessed to have a soul sister in this life. (Thank you Kitcia)
12. I have made friends around the world thanks to the internet.
13. I enjoyed ballroom dancing for 3 years - and still dance in my heart!
14. I love fast cars and motorcycles.
15. My optimism drives many people nuts :)
16. I love learning new things, especially about new cultures.
17. I love to laugh.
18. I have worked in institutional childcare and foster care, and love knowing that what I gave them from my soul will always be with them. They can always find it within themselves.
19. I have always been on my journey, but only with awareness for the last 15 years.
20. I have a new Blog Talk Radio show coming VERY soon.
21. My belief is that all we have is the Moment we are in - the past is gone and the future is not yet known.
22. Fear is my only deterrent - and it is only what I do not yet know.
23. Peace is not a figment of my imagination.
24. My desire is to bring awareness, as I know it to others.
25. My truth lies only within me as your truth lies only within you.
