911 families say yes to peace no to war

There are different motives for war.

Governments throughout history have wanted to increase their power in the world. It also gives them access to resources. It´s very rare that they are the ones to get hurt.

Companies who supply weapons, military transport and other commodities. They are interested in maximising their profits.

Soldiers usually don´t want conflict. There are some who want revenge or to show patriotism. Others think that war is the only choice. Most fight against their own free will.

Usually it´s the wrong people who get hurt. Ordinary men, women and even children.

The US government spends several trillion of dollars a year on warfare. "September 11 families for a peaceful tomorrow" realise that this money could be used for finding workable solutions.
