Connected To...

If we connected to the center of being, to the life that sits at the core;
If we stopped all the angry confusion to bring love, peace and joy;

If we lived with compassion and kindness, if we gave all we could possibly give;
What would it be to keep us, from all that we've possibly lived?

Oh Where could our lives take us, If we found center and we really tried;
If we truly put effort to living, The change would come in with each tide.

The secret to life is so simple, it lies at our feet for the take,
Make the next persons heart, hurt and sorrow; The first you see on your plate.

We must change the way we are living; We must make an entire new plan;
We must live with compassion and kindness, Show empathy to every man.

If we would connect to our center, Stay focused and set forth in truth;
Our world it would be changing, in turn, so would our youth.

There is hope in every tomorrow, Yet tomorrow may never come,
Today is the moment I am living; So today my work must be done.

If I can connect to my center, To the life that sits at my core,
I can stop the angry confusion; Walking forward in love evermore..
