The biggest problem with The United states over the last 8 years has been that Bush surrounded himself with people that told him what he wanted to hear. That created an environment that was ignorant and fear based towards the rest of us and around the world. This also created more conflict as extremests have grown in numbers. If we are to have Peace in this world we must talk to our enemy and not delete them or kill them or shun them.

I am part of this network because I want to help bring upon this Peace in peoples hearts. We can only do this if we talk to, share with, and love on those that disagree with us. I am not sure what the Post said in Desperation and Hypocracy! But we should know so we can understand where the person is coming from and be able to interact with them so we can all grow and learn! Please let us all understand that it is in loving our enemy that we will create peace. We all deserve a safe peaceful place to raise our families.... But it will not be handed to us we must work at it... If we create a place here on ipeace that is sterile then how do we change the hearts and minds of those who are creating the unrest. Maybe I am being naive... But this is what my heart is telling me.

Please help me to understand how you feel!

Thanks from your Brother Hear on Earth our only Home!

No child should have to live in a war zone. Those who cause war should be held accountable for the innocent civilians who die and suffer. I feel it is important to hold all parties accountable, not to cast blame on one side or the other, but to look at all the players and hold them all responsible. I am so sad for the suffering in Gaza, in Iraq, in Congo but I do believe peace is possible.

If I can remind just one child who he is in heart and help her remember that, and you do that, and they each do that....

The Youth is the Hope.
As a child I saw my friends' relatives come to this country still bearing the numbers from the camps. I planted trees in Israel. I protested against the Vietnam War. I was arrested with Abbie Hoffman
protesting the cutting of trees. I marched for civil rights. My generation led the way to see
Obama become President. My grandson's generation made it happen. Peace is possible for the
future generations.
The Shministim - student conscientious objectors who are choosing jail over going to war in Israel - are a sign of a new generation of youth who are as committed as we were in our time to making a real change.
I know Hamas is lobbing rockets into Israel and my heart breaks with every wound and every death as it does for every Palestinian child's death, but the only hope is true commitment to peace and non-violence.
WAR MAKES WAR...PEACE MAKES PEACE!
