Friends mourn death of rapper

Friends were still reeling late Saturday after 37 year old Lamarca Deshon Wilcox, known by many through his rap name "Mob Boss," was run down and killed on the McDuff Avenue exit ramp from Interstate 10 west earlier in the day.

Thirty nine year old Vonice Charelle Green was Johnny Manziel Jersey arrested on a charge of murder in the death of Wilcox. and responded to the 2900 block of Waller Street, said Sgt. Lonnie Mills, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office homicide detective.

A witness reported seeing a woman, who was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe, run over a man. When police arrived, Wilcox was dead. Mills Anthony Barr Jersey said Green stayed at the scene until police arrived. The two were in a relationship together.

Duval County court records show Green has prior convictions of battery, child abuse and cocaine possession in the 1990s. Saturday. Eddie Shllaku, a close friend of Wilcox, said friends and family were stunned by the loss.

"Everybody's still in shock," he said.

Wilcox was an owner of Mascara's Gentleman's Club on Southside Boulevard, Shllaku said. He also owned Silver Fox on Beaver Street and had a record label called Hustle House Records, based in Jacksonville.

Shllaku said Wilcox, his brother www.nflraidersofficial.com/Nike-Dave-Casper-Jersey.html Frank and Anthony Barr Kids Jersey Green owned Mascara's together. Because Green and Lamarca Wilcox were partners in the club, Shllaku said their relationship was kept relatively under wraps.

Wilcox and some friends, including Shllaku, were at Mascara's Friday night and into early Saturday morning, Shllaku said, and were planning to head to Silver Fox. Wilcox and Green left the club together and stopped on McDuff Avenue as the rest of the group headed off, he said.

"We left from one place, and we were going to meet him in another place," Shllaku said. "Then, we started seeing cops."

Shllaku said Wilcox was a father, a brother and "the best hearted person" one could come across.

"He was a good friend to hundreds and hundreds of people," Shllaku said. It seems when they aren't personally known, they will always be a bad person because of their backgrounds. How bout not judging because for one it's in the bible and for two its none of ur business to be judging. stay in ur own lane. How bout a business man got killed. whether its a business u approve of, it doesn't matter. somebody's love one just got killed. Drugs and sex have been the biggest vices of mankind since . . . forever!!!! These are the types of vices that are always going to sell, ALWAYS!!! Its nice for people to come on here and comment about how he was such an awful person, but seriously we live in money crazy capitalistic USA. Its a dirty job, but we all honestly know somebody has to do it. If he wasn't doing it someone else would be, just like someone else is soon gonna take his place owning these strip clubs, and selling drugs. He was just supplying the services that ALL TYPES of people in this city demand. If feel like if he was a white redneck man, who sold drugs and owned a biker strip club out in meth invested Baldwin people would be acting differently. I hate to say something like that and I hope I'm wrong, but after reading many of these comments I begin to believe I'm right. Nobody is asking you narrow minded people to accept the rap culture, its not for everybody. Its fake, offense to women and minorities, and also glorifies many negative things. But some people are smart enough to enjoy the music for what it is. This guy is one of the few people in jax to make some really music. Jax is so overshadowed by Atlanta Johnny Manziel Kids Jersey and Miami in hiphop music, let the rap fans of Jax actually appreciate a local hero in peace. I hate to died in Jacksonville where I was born and raised scared these people will put their hateful, racist, comments about me like they know me personally. All ya'll needs to get an life. All you have to do is sit there commenting on somebody elses' life that you don't even know. He was still a business man where it was out there picking up dodo to being an owner of a strip club. It doesn't matter. What??? you went to get a job from him and he turned you down, huh????

wow. smdh. Really? And is everyone here supposed to be from Duval County? Sadness is all that I can identify as the feeling I have from reading all the stereotypical, prejudice, discriminatory, HATEFUL comments towards a man whom 99% of you didn't know and didn't care to know. So much for the city having the ability to move forward together with these types of attitudes out there. I guess these days, judging others is the new fad? The ones who made it a point to ridicule a human being for taking advantage of opportunites that would have gave him a chance to live life the way he chose. God forbid someone doesn't agree simply because it isn't something they were fortunate enough not to endure. Boss. Your personality reflected your motivation and the motivation of officialnflvikingsjerseys.com/Nike-Teddy-Bridgewater-Jersey.html others to live a little better. Even if some others could never understand. Jacksonville remains in my prayers. The real wish for ridding this city of negativity does not revolve around a specific genre but it should be for the people who still have certain thoughts of those who are different from themselves as if one is superior to the next.

Okay, I don't wish anyone dead but the constant defense of this guy is pathetic. Seriously, he ran strip clubs, not really humanitarian type efforts. Stop attempting to paint this guy some sort of awesome person because he owned his businesses. Great, he pedaled female exploitation and bad music. Not anything to be celebrating to say the least. It is regretable that he was killed and it is good the person that did this was caught. Just stop trying to make this guy out to be some sort of great guy, he wasn't.
