Jeremy Ross had massive impact in limited playing time

Jeremy Ross had a big impact in Thursday's 40 10 win over the Green Bay Teddy Bridgewater Authentic Jersey Packers despite only playing a handful of plays.

Ross played just three offensive snaps as a fill in for Nate Burleson at slot receiver but had the Lions' longest run of the day 24 Derek Carr Black Jersey yards on an end around and caught the game tying five yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford late in the second quarter.

Installed as the Lions' new kick and punt returner last week, Ross also set up Reggie Bush's go ahead touchdown with a 35 yard punt return just before halftime. He averaged 11.5 yards on four punt returns for the game.

Cut by the Packers earlier this season, after he muffed a punt in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Ross has emerged as a core special teams player for the Lions in recent weeks. He played 18 special teams snaps Thursday, fewer than only safeties Don Carey, John Wendling www.nflraidersofficial.com/Nike-Khalil-Mack-Jersey.html and DeJon Gomes, who played 19.

Ross said "it felt really good" to have such a game against his old team. He credited his struggles in Green Bay for his re emergence in Detroit.

"I just had to play with more confidence, just learn how to let stuff go and move on from things," he said. "The plays, why I didn't really do well when I was there was lack of focus, so I think this time around, I was just really trying to focus more on my technique and not letting what's around me affect what I do, but staying true to myself and true to my team."

More snap count notes from Thursday's game:

Despite playing their third game in 12 days, seven defensive players were on the field for 95% or more of Thursday's snaps. Linebackers Stephen Tulloch and Derek Carr Youth Jersey DeAndre Levy, safeties Glover Quin and Louis Delmas and cornerbacks Rashean Mathis and Darius Slay played all 43 defensive plays, while defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh only missed two snaps.

On offense, the blowout finally allowed the Lions to give some of their starters rest. Shaun Hill took the final two kneel down snaps, the only plays Stafford has missed all year. Dominic Raiola and Riley Reiff also sat the final two plays, leaving Rob Sims and Larry Warford as the only offensive players to play all 81 offensive snaps.

Calvin Johnson played 69 snaps but sat out the final six plays of the Lions' fourth quarter touchdown drive (plus the two kneel downs) after Sam Shields fell on his ailing right knee on a third quarter interception. Lions coach Jim Schwartz said Johnson was "OK" after the game and that sitting him was a precautionary measure in a blowout.

Finally, Joique Bell finished with more Teddy Bridgewater Kids Jersey snaps (45) than Reggie Bush (39) on a day that both running backs were extremely productive. Bush and Bell combined for 310 yards from scrimmage. Collectively, they ran the ball 39 times for 211 yards and were targeted on nine passes, catching eight, for 99 officialfootballjaguars.com/Nike-Blake-Bortles-Jersey.html yards.
