PEACE IN THIS WORLD??
Has it occurred to you if you live in America, that in order to have any sort of peace in this world, then you have to stop invading other people's countries?. Please don't get me wrong, and David don't get angry, this is democratic. I need to say this and it might make a lot of American's angry but it's the truth. The problem with the world today, is that america dominates the world, and unfortunately, its governments have seen fit to take over any country which they could benefit from. This has caused massive destruction and death and terror on an unprecedented scale and it's all in the name of greed.
What really upsets me, is men as young as 18 who know NOTHING, go to war thinking, from the lies they are fed, that they are doing something GOOD??? Why does no one tell them that they are going to their death for no reason? why does no one tell them that they are going to murder innocent children and women and even men, for absolutely no reason? There never was any threat to america from Iraq. That was an illegal war. Everyone in the world knows this. Yet George Bush has gotten away with being the biggest terrorist of them all. This is horror stuff.
When the people of America say ENOUGH. When they say NO to illegal wars, to lies that are fed them about terrorists that don't exist and when they just live in harmony and stop trying to change the world in other people's countries maybe a little peace could happen. It has nothing to do with america how the rest of the world live. Please people, if you come together and agree to stay away from what has nothing to do with you, maybe, just maybe, you will help this world move closer to peace.
the same goes for the UK. They decided to be friends with America. that I guess, was out of fear. The whole situation is ridiculous and shameful. the world will never be at peace as long as people believe in FIGHTING to get PEACE. Its an oxymoron. None of this makes any sense. we live in a brutal world and sadly, it starts with the super powers, whose powers have gone to their heads. They say the end of the world is close. Let it be so if this is how it threatens to carry on.
thank fully, Bush is out of the way. He was the biggest warmonger of them all.

I like how you have the ability to open up and speak your mind :)
1st, It might look that way on paper and in numbers that America rules the world, but you wrong, they dont. The Governments of the world are mere puppits for the power elite who run mother Gaia and have been for thousands of years. Dont forget it has always been a polarity struggle between Good and eVIL. This control has gone back way before the Lincoln Presidentsy, sitting around blaming names is a waste of energy and breathe.
2nd, Rogers comment is true, one person can make a difference, but remember: If one is seeking peace, then one must find peace within.
One cant love another person if one cant love themself!
3rd, The light has won the battle, Remember power/darkness always implodes on itself.
People of love light and peace, shine your light from within, hold your ground strong and never give up. The light will always prevail!

dear doborah. i quickly read your blog above. i do believe one individual can make a difference. you are making a differrence here.
our society is one of opportunism and greed. mostly greed. it has to be examined very closely on a personal level at first. i am convinced that we need to teach ourselves that we have enough. it is the lack of spiritual reality and, subsequently, the chase after material possessions that really creates the negative social impact we are seeing worldwide.

you know, it doesn't matter who it is, Countries have always been invading other Countries, and it's wrong. It just happens to be America right now and the UK is joining in. Why don't they just leave well alone? It's not the pot calling the kettle black, you are right, the UK has plundered the world in a sickening manner, as the Romans did, as Hitler did, as every one has done. I'm talking about the genocide that is going on right now. Mind you, that's the Jews or the Palestinians, who get their funding from? America, of course. .......

I sent this to David a few days ago regarding Lilus blog.
The biggest problem with The United states over the last 8 years has been that Bush surrounded himself with people that told him what he wanted to hear. That created an environment that was ignorant and fear based towards the rest of us and around the world. This also created more conflict as extremests have grown in numbers. If we are to have Peace in this world we must talk to our enemy and not delete them or kill them or shun them.
I am part of this network because I want to help bring upon this Peace in peoples hearts. We can only do this if we talk to, share with, and love on those that disagree with us. I am not sure what the Post said in Desperation and Hypocracy! But we should know so we can understand where the person is coming from and be able to interact with them so we can all grow and learn! Please let us all understand that it is in loving our enemy that we will create peace. We all deserve a safe peaceful place to raise our families.... But it will not be handed to us we must work at it... If we create a place here on ipeace that is sterile then how do we change the hearts and minds of those who are creating the unrest. Maybe I am being naive... But this is what my heart is telling me.

My Dear friend! I am an American. My grandfather was born in Ireland and shot at the age of 18 for loving freedom to much. He got on a boat shortly there after and came to America and on my mothers side my family came from Italy. Our history here as a country is young and filled with embarrassements as do most nations around the world have their own embarrassments. I am not proud of the genocide that took place long before my family got here against the american Indians, I am not proud of the slavery that took place in America. My family lived in the North around New York City and never had slaves but I can feel the pain that still lingers. I am not proud of corporate america and the way they have been greedy and selfish and iresponsible. I am not proud of our goverment and how they have conducted themselves on many levels.
Though you make a very broad sweeping statement when you say all americans. And you also fail to recognize that americans have stepped in on countless ocassions around the world in the last 100 years and helped out in a big way. I am not for war but I am for defending inocent people. I am against the iraq war and against war in general, but I am all for defending oneself, your family and your country. We live in complicated times where people are willing to blow themselves up in the name of God. Bush and his clan have made things worse than they ever were and I am embarrassed by everything he stands for and all the actions he has taken. We have a lot of good people here in the US that are working hard everyday to make it a better world. We are Moms and Dads, brothers and sister, doctors and storekeepers, muslims, and Christian, Jew and Hindu, Budist and atheist. We are an amazing meltingpot of everyone else. We have been misled and now we will redeem ourselves with our new leader. Obama is going to create healing hear and abroad. Please believe in us. We are not war mongering people. George Bush does not represent the american people he represents the small elite that has a strangle hold on the american people financially and physically. We hope he gets tried for war crimes!
