Poem: The Rich And The Poor

A close friend of mine is musical Ambassador to World Vision and just visitied a large regional development project in Ethiopia.

Although the people living there are extremely poor and have to live from only 1 $ per day(!), he has experienced "very proud, beautiful, joyous and precious personalities" the same time......

Hence, Idedicated this poem to all those on this planet who still celebrate warm unadulterated humanity despite all life-threatening odds ..... while the rest of mankind is bogging down in the chilly moors of selfishness and isolation.....

"Poem: The Rich And The Poor

Utter Silence, so breathless,
Fathoming
Forlorn, aching, fighting souls,

Deprived of love and compassion.
Forgiving
Those "poor" in despair who

Forgot their own inmost mirror,
Lost
In overly self-consciousness....

Mentally shipwrecked in social
Freakwaves,
Odysseying in a sea of greed,

Clinging to fragile ego nutshells,
Drowning
in humbugging status eddies.

Their divine essence flooded, no
Life vests,
Drowing mind, heart and soul.

Yet a lighthouse: our quiet and sound
Conscience,
Radiating guiding light and destination:

Love, wisdom, compassion and vitality,
Despite
the daily grind of subsistence....

The poor ......the rather "rich" ones?
Smiling.
Rich at heart and soul. Cos naturally.....

beautiful. this is why the rich need to learn from the prisitine and unadulterated hearts of the poor, decelerate accordingly, come to to insight and divine wisdom, and finally take on the appropriate god-wanted actions in order to make this planet liveable in dignity for everyone...

As you say: "If charity of the rich people are paid to the poor ones, no poor ones will be found. "

P.S.: Also Rotary International and the Bill Gates foundation are setting up a new 500 million $ fund rasing campaign in the next two years in order to fully erradicate Polio globally (especially in India and Nigeria) and to be able to re-vaccinate in order to prevent a new widespread outbreak with so many crippled and dead kids.....

But still the rich are way to rich (and the same time very often so "poor" in their heart and soul - that's what I wanted to express above)....

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If any Muslim clothes a Muslim when he is naked, Allah will clothe him with some green garments of Paradise; if any Muslim feeds a Muslim when he is hungry, Allah will feed him with some of the fruits of Paradise; and if any Muslim gives a Muslim drink when he is thirsty, Allah will give him some of the pure wine which is sealed to drink.

This Hadith of the prophet is beautiful and I wanted to convey it. Please read it.
Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: My servants, I have made oppression unlawful for Me and unlawful for you, so do not commit oppression against one another. My servants, all of you are liable to err except one whom I guide on the right path, so seek right guidance from Me so that I should direct you to the right path. O My servants, all of you are hungry (needy) except one whom I feed, so beg food from Me, so that I may give that to you. O My servants, all of you are naked (need clothes) except one whom I provide garments, so beg clothes from Me, so that I should clothe you. O My servants, you commit error night and day and I am there to pardon your sins, so beg pardon from Me so that I should grant you pardon. O My servants, you can neither do Me any harm nor can you do Me any good. O My servants, even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and even the whole of human race of yours, and that of jinns even, become (equal in) God-conscious like the heart of a single person amongst you, nothing would add to My Power. O My servants, even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours and that of the Jinns too in unison become the most wicked (all beating) like the heart of a single person, it would cause no loss to My Power. O My servants, even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours and that of jinns also all stand in one plain ground and you ask Me and I confer upon every person what he asks for, it would not. in any way, cause any loss to Me (even less) than that which is caused to the ocean by dipping the needle in it. My servants, these for you I shall reward you for thern, so he who deeds of yours which I am recording finds good should praise Allah and he who does not find that should not blame anyone but his ownself.

If charity of the rich people are paid to the poor ones, no poor ones will be found.
