Thanks for the invite

I am grateful that I was asked to join in. My time on the web has been taken up with my little etsy shop and the social elements of it. Since I'm not much into running a business, I find that I am donating what little proceeds I get to local groups that assist those who lives have been effected by violence and groups that promote creativity, such as the local theater project with workshops for kids. I am not currently working, as social service jobs here seem to be the first to go. Even though I don't have money, I do have time and I still have a house if anyone needs a place to stay. Maine is a very tranquil place for the most part. Domestic violence is on the rise which may have to do with the economy.
I have worked crisis lines, done advocacy and worked in shelters. I have participated in the local peace group and for years was envolved in the clothesline project. I am happy to share what ever I can to promote peace.
