What's Not Said

So today I went a little old school and put a little pen to paper. I am always hesitent to post poems. But this one I wrote earlier actually picked up responses that made me feel like I had captured a moment that every human has felt. So after much thought I decided to post it anyway.

What's Not Said

My Feelings....

I can't hide.

My heart beats...

Deep inside-

With raw emotion,

and desire-

I want you.

My passion is like fire...

It's never enough-

just a kiss,

I love you...

This I promise.

When I'm alone,

We're apart-

I desire you...

To touch my heart.

It feels so long

Since we've talked-

In the shadows,

I skulked.

I have dreamed...

For so long-

About you...

My heart, can't be wrong.

If you want?

I'm yours forever and after;

But I know- you don't believe...

In "happily ever-after."

But, I feel...

This love is true.

Maybe after all,

You feel like this too?

What's not said...

I can no longer hide-

All the want...

I have deep inside.
