part of my delay (not all) is due to knowing one day my horse friend will also run in the skys...
I dont have any issue when those who have passed (I've lived with around 100 wolves total, and all have passed on), want to "hand around" for a while, nor, longer than that.
My lead wolf who passed a few years ago the same day I met this horse, is still hanging out with me.
Waiting, because I will be joining him, he is after all, still leading the way......
And my wife thinks the horse is his reincarnation, but, the horse was here 7 years before my lead passed on due to brain cancer. I do suspect though, he had something to do with telling this horse, to give himself to me, in his place.... To watch over me, because I was very willing to join my lead wolf, when he left, when they gave him the injection, my last words to him, were "I wont be far behind"
But I have a job to do here, and cannot be so selfish, so I stay, and with the help of this horse and a very wonderful wife and loving children (grown) even this tree has managed to keep a smile :D
