About Falun Dafa, the best is probably to first look at the website where you can download the introduction book "Falun Gong", and also the main book "Zhuan Falun" for free. I would suggest starting with the introductory book as it also explains the exercises and the meditation (which are four standing tai chi like ones) and also a sitting meditation. After that I would suggest the main book Falun Gong. The teachings are based on three universal principals: Zhen Shan Ren (in Chinese, and which in English means Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerane)...
There are local volunteers persons all over the world that can help one learn the exercises, and it is all for free. Below are the websites that you can get both the reading materials and also find a local volunteer contact person in your area:
