Thank you for your New Year wishes, and for your beautiful photos here. The warm weather ones are particularly appealing this morning, as I awoke to an unexpected blizzard that precludes a planned road trip. Ah well, other than imitating the Canadian boxing day - we have some gifts to deliver for a couple of Iraqi youngsters recently arrived from a refugee camp in Jordan - it is a good day to read and write by the fire. Peace and joy to you!

Good for your friend - wish i knew more to be of help. Coincidentally, I asked an architect friend just this week if he was aware of any techonlogies that combined reflective solar energy capture with evoparative capture (speaking of thinking outside the box). Dealination combined with aquaducts sounds more practical for large scale operation - I was only trying to imagine how to simultaneously heat and water plants in a free standing greenhouse. [Don't know if I'm replying to your post in the regular way here - it's just where the system took me.]
This will date me - I should know his Muslim name assume years back - but in any case I was pleased to hear Cat Stevens on your page here. In addition to Peace Train, I particularly appreciate his song about Change. We hired an Iraqi refugee this year whose taste in music goes to Rap, but he's now a Cat fan as well.
