Deares sweet Ana, its nice to have found you here. I love your thoughts and I agree with you, youre right!! I use to visit Rome -youre very fortunate to can be there its an incredible place full of magic spots- but last year Ive been in States, Im also MBA and now Im finishing my Schollar Certificat in NonProfit Management by Kellogg BS of Chicago -till next february 09-, and another Masters Degree in Development Project and International Cooperation Specialist -till next oct 09- Also I strted to collaborate with some intl. organizations helping children in need... but Im still in the road.... We´ll see. And that is what it was amazing to read what youre doing, I feel close and in the same line, I mean I dont believe so much in direct money help gave to people in need, I prefer to show the way, to give education, to give tools and develop auto-sustainable projects. Where would you like to work with after finish your studies? I also looove Brazil despite Ive never been there, but Ill do someday, it fascinates me because its history, its mix of cultures... Well hope we can chat about this and other things you want. Other question, why you think is more important peaceful than love? I feel love is the key of every problems here, peace will come naturally when people learn to love themselves enough... ****I send you all the love I have from Spain and overseas****

i love the artwork and the peaceful feelings
in all of our warm home pages... as we experience
our presence across the ondas of the woven web...
may the waves of your loving energy roll on...
to the i n f i n i t e shores of the universe ...
gently touching the feet of our creator...
standing there at the Ocean's edge...
guiding our path to Love...
with a loving smile...

Love is always present, in the world, in nature, in us. What changes is our realisation of it.
Sending you a heartful smile from nature, dear Ana.

The answer to "Why Brazil" is a bit long and complicated, so since I'm at work I'll defer answering it until this evening. Thank you, though, for accepting my friendship and being willing to help me, if only by correcting me when I do violence to your beautiful language.

Best,
Jeff

hi ana,

it is definitely a compliment :-)

generally, the section talks about how many times, conflicts about hard stuff i.e. money, land, etc. are "ribbed and shaped" by the soft stuff of group identities.. i assume you might agree?

my school has some of the most amazing staff! my favorites are very friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and humble!

since we are on the theme of identity, here is how one of my profs describe it:

"Metaphorically speaking, culture is a perception-shaping lens or (still metaphorically) a grammar for the production and structuring of meaningful action."

http://www.beyondintractability.org/articlesummary/10033/?nid=5763

take care, and thanks for stirring up these thoughts!

kindly,

scott
