Dearest Linda: This photo of me was taken in July 2008, at the International Peace Gardens. I titled it "One foot in Canada and One foot in North Dakota, USA," because I am literally standing in both countries. The Peace Chapel is truly elegant in its simplicity. Inside, engraved on its marble walls are peace quotes from all over the world, from almost all historical eras. It is nondenomination and non sectarian, making it all inclusive. I was so touched by it that it moved me to tears. The gardens and white birch forests, picnic areas and lakes are restful, peaceful and beautiful. I do hope you get the opportunity to visit there one day soon.

I am so blessed that you asked me to be you friend, and I do accept.
