This year, Brazil host the Third World Congress on Sexual Exploitation of coping Children and Adolescents, in the period from 25 to Nov. 28 in Rio Center, in Rio de Janeiro.

With an audience estimated at around three thousand people, including three hundred teenagers from all over the world, this congress, with the intention of articulation and knowledge, will continue to two previous events held in Stockholm, Sweden (1996) and Yokohama , Japan (2001).

The organization of the event is in charge of a Central Organizing Committee formed by the Brazilian government, through the SPDCA of the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; by UNICEF New York and UNICEF Brazil; Brazil ECPAT International and ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes), and NGO Group, which monitors the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. In addition, there are many key partners supporting the Congress in three Working Groups: National GT (Logistics and Communication), GT and GT of Reference of Mobilization.
