And that's Me on the top of the bus in the early 70's. I just got out of the Army. Supposedly the Army was going to make Me a Mean, Fighting Machine, which it did for awhile, but really it made Me become a Loving, Peaceful Hippy. So why should I change, as I Love being Me.

Thanks, Steph, take care. You also do lovely work. I am an artist of sorts, but nothing like you. My drawings are still those of a 5 year old. I drew the illustrations for my book, and we had a real artist make them look professional. Thank God for that!

Yes, it is nice to sit quietly for awhile and listen to the wind rustle the leaves on the big oak tree outside my window which I love to do. Except today it is very still. The sun is bright and the sky is clear. There is not very much traffic outside and inside there is warmth and comfort. Today is my youngest daughter's 36th birthday. She lives quite a long way from here and I will miss having ice cream and cake with her and my grandchildren. I hope you have enjoyed our little chat. Thanks for the tea and the wonderful company. I must take my leave now as I just remembered a task I have to take care of right away. We'll get together again soon. Paris

It was not so much Califa as ning, who is closing down the site because only those groups that are subscribing will be allowed to stay open, according to ning.
Curiously, none of the groups have been closed down. I am wondering if they will go at the end of this weekend.
