Kaycie, Wow, I have seen your revolving photo now for a few days and have meant to say hi before now, but you know how it is...this is a multi-taskers dream site...and I am still getting there with that...thank you for all the wonderful work you are doing within and without in the world, I am in complete agreement with all of it...recognizing my Self in you, I honor the One in you from the One in me, Namaste my dear Sister-in-Love. Peace to you, Peter

Hi Kaycie,
Thanks for the link to Hubhub. Interesting. It looks pretty different from what I'm doing. At a glance, it appears to me to be an amalgam of MLM and philanthropy. I don't have anything against MLM, but that's not what I'm doing. One of the challenges is to talk talk about a new economic system, promoting mutual benefit, without arousing peoples' suspicious that it's some kind of pyramid scheme. It's not.

At the same time, a lot has been said in the web 2.0 business world about the so-called "viral loop," in marketing. Ning, which we're on, made the statement that they have a "double viral loop," since it's a social networking making social network. And there is certainly a sort of genetic relation to "network marketing." But what I'm doing inherits more from the micro-finance side of the business gene pool. It will look more like this site we're using here, rather than Hubhub.

I didn't know about Michelle Wright, so thanks for that connection too. I did love CS Lewis's Paralandra books. I visited Findhorn 23 years ago. I backpacked in. I met with Eileen Caddy. Even then, I was an "against the grain" kind of person. Eileen Caddy was very open to dialogue, though. Which brings back another memory...a few years later, I encountered her son, on the trail to Kalalau, in Kauai, where I was going on a vision quest. Haven't thought of that in 20 years. (Trippy. "Vision quest" is a euphemism, in this case.)

Just let me know when is a good time for a screen share session, and we can go over some of the features that might fit with your work and interests.

Yes, it's the difficult to diagnose stuff, so-called "syndromes" and such, which is a particular focus for me. (BTW, I treated myself successfully with chocolate cake daily for a year. Don't give up on chocolate too soon! But get the good stuff.)

Kaycie the art work is great, must be nice to have talent!! I can muck up signing my name:)
My Aunt had a stroke at 78 and she painted this instead of buying a Christmas card and then it was all apologizes on how her hands shook so bad it ended up being a mess...I think it is great and love it.

Hi Kaycie,

Thanks for your kind feedback, it helped brighten my day. The clouds among the sky is a beautiful way to remember that peace is always there, if only we are willing to wait for the breeze to push the clouds along...I don't know much about how the planets affect moods (anything really :) ), but would love to learn someday. I was visiting my mom the night Venus and Jupiter were aligned with the moon. I was blessed to have picked the perfect moment at dusk to drive into town to get our pizza, otherwise I would have missed the beautiful show. I overheard people on the street buzzing about it. Maybe it was the planets, because the clouds are starting to move into the distance again.

I'm happy to be your friend.

What is HUB? Can I have a link? I know hubpages. I can show you what we'll be doing using screen share if you want.

Here's a page that goes in to more detail about how I connected my experiences with illness, through a tantric or transformational approach, to mutual self and world healing:
http://www.selfport.com/presentation1/My_story.html

I saw Ram Dass speak a few times. In school, my studies were comparative religions, psychology and literature.

I'm glad that the integrative approach is gaining more mind share these days. People more and more realize that all our parts are interactive (mind, body spirit, lifestyle, etc.)

Part of what I'm producing are tools that can shed light on these interactions statistically (without the need for the huge hurdles of formal clinical trials), the offer treatment modalities based on these statistical proofs.

So, for instance, art therapy, or relationship work, or even what we do for a living, can be seen in context of it's effects on our health, in very specific ways.

I didn't meet Neem Karoli Baba personally. I first learned about him through Ram Dass. Do you know Larry Brilliant's story? (Larry Brilliant now runs Google.org, and is famous for having eradicated small pox. Neem Karoli Baba told him, "go work for the WHO, you will eradicate small pox." He said he didn't even know what small pox was at the time.)

Jung used mandala art is his clinical practice.

I'd like to show you more about my business platform too. I'd be happy to show it to you any time, pre-launch. It has some new forms of micro-finance, which will have political and legal interactions, so that part might have to wait until we have enough money to pay lawyers to talk to the SEC, or some country decides to back us or something.

But most of the rest of it we will be able to put out. It works a lot like this site, with a bundled monetary system, and various tools we're building to help people learn and teach, and leverage creative work in new ways, to make a living. We also have new ways to support social businesses, non-profits, and even conventional business.

Hi Kaycie,

Thanks for your sharing a comment. Yours is the first I have received from someone whom I don't know personally. It was perfect, and quite an eye opener.

In a nutshell, I don't know the peace that Mr. Tolle teaches about. My lousy mood the last couple of days is a testament to that. :) After reading your comment, I feared that the writing style and content of my site comes across as though I have reached a level a peace similar to or equal to Mr. Tolle's. It's not true. It dawned on me yesterday how little I actually know, in spite of the gift God gave me.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts,

Robbie

Hi Kaycie, yes, the alchemy has been slowly working on my health...although I accept that I will not achieve perfect health until everyone does. But just working towards that, in a practical sense, with all the resources at one's disposal, is healing. I would like to hear more about your work, particularly the use of art in cultivating peace. The tools we're building will allow teaching, classes and consultations, along with other entrepreneurial tools, so I hope you'll consider working through that platform. I saw the picture of Neem Karoli Baba on your website. Did you know him personally?
