re blue moon - it happens every every two or three years by the solar calendar, when there are 13 moons a year instead 12. The Hebrew calendar is a lunar one, so it doesn't happen. Very strange,,,,as if it is not the same moon....it is said, that the moon at this time has a blueish shade over it , but very rarely one can see it.
I looked at it also yesterday night - there was an eclipse on its right side, covering very little of it, but clear observed. could you see that too?
