Thank you for your gentleness and you recognition of the same.....I had to learn it from within myself; it was not taught to me by my parents, my siblings, my religious affiliation or my teachers in any school. My children (that was my granddaughter in the picture) pointed me in the right direction, but Prem Rawat showed me how to have constant access. What a gift! Looking forward to an acquaintance leading to friendship.....I've learned to move more slowly in order to drink the nectar in every drop.

Hello David
Thank you for your friend request and I am happy to accept. I look forward to networking with you here in this community of Peace. I see you are quite an accomplished author. I have just released book one of my trilogy and reviews so far have been very good. I do hope that my work inspires people to live all aspects of their lives with greater passion which was my purpose. Have a wonderful weekend.
Irene
Hey David: I don't know what inspired you to request my friendship---but I would like to know. Your picture looks so serious; I suppose acting is a serious business as well as writing books and poems. I am a poet as well, but have not taken the time to publish my works. I hope that is on my agenda for the near future, but other things are on my plate at the moment.
Do you know Prem Rawat?

NOW and AGAIN, it is necessary to seclude yourself among deep mountains and hidden valleys to restore your link to the source of life. Sit comfortably and first contemplate the manifest real of existence. This realm is concerned with externals, the physical form of things. Then fill your body with ki and sense the manner in which the universe functions-its shape, its color, and its vibrations. Breathe in and let yourself sour to the ends of the universe. breath out and bring the cosmos back inside. Next, breathe up all the fecundity and vibrancy of the earth with that of your own body, becoming the breath of life itself. As you calm down, naturally let yourself settle in the heart of things. Find your center and fill yourself with light and heat.
Thanks for the poem David!

Don't know if I sent this one.
Hero
For what gallantry has been shown as men go beyond the limits of fear to achieve the focused objective?
With no thought or consideration of the past or the future men seek to obtain the goal over dismembered bodies to a point of possible no return.
What glory is there in the destruction of human form to secure a plot of ground only to retreat upon command, to venture again as the target of the next days folly, the rescue of those still alive from the battle the day before?
Who are the heroes? Those who go blindly into battle like sheep to slaughter out of the desire to serve proudly in hope for Victory?
Let us not forget those unsung heroes behind the lines, the fireman and the policeman who protect us at the risk of death each day.
Let the angels praise those who serve by saving lives in the hospitals and rescue those on our highways seaways and mountain tops.
Let us not forget those fathers and mothers who have sacrificed their lives so that we could be able to be who we are today.
When we can step beyond fear and cast our self aside to serve and rescue a fallen brother we except the fate of an honor beyond words.
"For what greater Love is there than to give your life for another" when we give up our self to save a brother!
