Wayne, thanks for letting me have some friends over especially when both you and Wendy had endured some major emotional upheaval. Your house is so heart warming! laters!
Hey!
Loved your rancho bozo philosophy.....really hit me!
I lived in Berkeley for 3 years, made great friends while my husband (not husband yet when we were there) worked at the LBL in chemistry.
One of my best friends in Oakland ended her life there several years ago.....
Asked people in Berkeley many years ago "are people really all as "left" as they used to be? They answered, actually they are so left that they have gotten close to being to the right!
I love the Bay Area, originally from L.A. I know, but it is not my fault!
good to read you
i will be back....it struck me, what you wrote....right to a "T".
take care (ps check out 15,000 stories group....if you care to add a personal story, I would love it I am sure!!)
thanks
Stephanie

Great website dude, I'd say you are just about all the way down with the hippy thing I especially love the song about a Canadian Princess - the Spanish verse is a nice twist. I wonder if people know what its really like to live with a California boy like you?

Hi Wayne. Enjoyed your note!! :) Running behind due to work. I also just LOVE your page with all the free spirit of the hippie days. I am 55 but was still on the edge of that whole time. You ask on your site. "Where were you in 72?" And then go on to talk about Europe on $5 a day. I was 18 and graduating in 1972 and I took off for Europe after graduation and traveled with a Eurail Pass (trains dirt cheap) eating French bread and cheese. I traveled all over Europe for more than six months and only spent $350. Can you believe it?!!! WIld, huh? Then in my mid twenties I took off for the virgin Rainforest of Australia and lived in the jungles there for quite awhile. Great times of my life. I love both your website and you iPeace page. You are the one who turned me on to Alan Watts. I wish I'd met him while he was alive. I am hooked on him and have recently been in touch with his son. I love both the free spirited happy energy of your sites and Alan Watts palpable connection to nature. Boy, the hippie days really were a great movement and shift on the planet. Powerful raw emotional times. Unbridled and free. A great spike on the vitality graph of life. Thank you for sharing and for your kind note. I loved this line on your iPeace page: "I always treated my students as though they were extremely important people because they were (are)" You were/ARE a great teacher...in so many way. Thank you ! Robin
