Dear Marianne,
I think you're wise without knowing it. Letting things sink deeper inside of us to feel what they do instead of making thoughts with our ego is very wise, I think.
I try to apply Neti neti in my everydays's life : sometimes it's easy, sometimes, it's more difficult : but I understood that there is no place ou no state to arrive : "the goal is the path" as it's often said or like a chineese proverb said :"Don't be afraid to walk slowly. Be just afraid to stop walking". Everyone is on the path, is's just easier when we remember that.

I think that over the centuries religion has played the biggest part in stsrting or sustaing wars in the World. The most famous being the Chritian Crusade. But lately A countries gree has awoken Exremists in Islam, till that greed was not there, GREED FOR OIL, there were no problems in the world, now it is Islam and the western Countries, so you see the Brain washers are using guilable people to use their faith and religion to start wars, terrorism every where. Now religion qagain has started playing a big part in the World.
In China, in the holy month of Ramadan, Chinese Muslims are deprived of their right to fast also, surely this will have bad effects. c
