I believe that too, that each person is unique, and the more they are them, the more they have to offer to the world because of it. Nor do I buy into the mind game that 1% of the population has control over 99%, something about those numbers has me scratching my head in puzzlement :)
I think maybe they want us to believe we don't have the power to change our own world? That we dont matter and only they do? These big important people calling the shots, use toilet paper too!
We are all equal here, and the only thing that has us being powerless, is being convinced that we are. What a waste, so many talented beautiful people with so much to offer the world, convinced they have no self worth, but the few who control the masses as if they are untouchable, when they too, are just people like you and I.
So I dont give them my power, nor respect beyond them earning it by showing me they intend to use what power they have not to help them selves but the world around them.
I dont want to own much material wealth, I want to live simply that others may simply live. I dont want to be above anyone, I want to be beside everyone, as their friend.
So when others treat me with honor and respect, I dont sit here an soak it up, I RETURN it, because its those of honor and respect that deserve to be treated the same way in kind. And those who act like they deserve respect but dont return it? They get none of mine.
We the people.
I like that. And if any is a "leader"? Then its because they are servants of the people, not the other way around.
