I'm sorry i can't help you further - what you talk about is not a part of my life. Yes, it is serious if any human being is hurt or not treated with the dignity they deserve. But my focus is on the peace that lies within. And that's not a cop out! Yes i feel passionately about certain issues and i also know that everything reported in the media is not always as it appears (i worked in it). And i 'sense' that there are some groups of people who's aim it is to created discord and disharmony - to stir up trouble - and racial people do exist - it is just pure fear and ignorance. But if i tried to attend to all the 'problems' i see and feel, it would kill me. Again this is not a cop out! My dearest teacher Maharaji, who i've had the amazing fortune of being guided by for nearly 40yrs has show me clearly that the very best thing i can do in my life is to experience this peace. I have found this to be true. I care deeply for human beings (i work in the field) - but i have understood in my life that there is truely only one solution and that is to experience this peace and shine it forth - i believe that's the greatest contribution i can make.
Saying that, as i said before, my experience of Indian people and their place in the commuities i've lived and visited has always been one of respect and acceptance - as any other person. I've been to India many times so i know what Indians look like, In fact my grandfather was an Irish Gypsy - so my roots go back long ago to India.
The world is experiencing many problems at present - i am only one human and cannot solve them all - but i understand to the deepest part of my being, that by continuing to practice and focus on this incredible peace and beauty that is who i am - this will create miracles.

I've personally never found any racism with Indian people - the relationships, to me, seem very harmonious. And where i lived previously - Ipswich and Brisbane Qld - there was a strong and growing Indian population.

Of course you have not offended me by your question!
I was simply surprised by your compliment. I thought
you might have referred to somebody else's writing!
Mostly what I write is inspired by my experience
with Knowledge imparted by my Maharaji, and for that,
I can take very little credit.
I try to publish his Sat Sang in Spanish because I feel
that if the Hispanics could read what is said in their
own language, we would tap into an invaluable human resource:
Many warm, generous and kind hearted people with the desire to
be happy and experience peace in their lives.

Sometimes i send short greetings in other languages
just for fun, you know.
A few years ago, I have stayed over night at the 5 star
recyling hotel (I forgot its name!) close to Mumbai's
airport. Very impressive. I love Indian fashion, food, and
of course, India.
