I don't know the people you mentioned, but that's more on me than them...I'm so out of the loop. It sounds like you had a great time up in northern Cali. I've been there. Saw the redwoods and visited Napa valley and the Christian Bros. winery when I was about eight. Too young to really appreciate it all, I guess. I did love the forest, I remember.

Over here, we have to watch the tide when kayaking, so we don't run onto the reefs at low tide. Its pretty cool watching them go by under the boats when the timing's right. Your granddaughter sounds adorable! two and three year olds are the cutest....I love the proportions, because their heads are about a fourth of their body, Just looking at toddlers makes me smile.
