I don't think there's a Country in the World with the diversity of music to even be able to compare themselves would be impossible..There's Chamber music, Crooners, Pop, Orchestral, Early Minstrel, Weird and wonderful '50's experimental 'noise' from Goldsmith's College and all around...The list is Endless, Endless...We really should be proud of not just our Heritage, but our musical Heritage and Capabilities also...
Well say "G'night,Dick",
"Goodnight, Dick"........Tryin' to think which duo had that as their parting shot, each show...American, not English...Can't think !
His Play in a Day guitar book outstripped all other sales in the 1950's and '60's as all the new and young groups began to appear after the early skiffle and rock & roll......... a gifted guitar player and really only remembered from the 5 o/c Club TV show, with Murial Young and the ever popular......Pussy Cat Willam, the glove puppet (didn't alarm any of you with that, did I? You didn't think he was real did you?,,,There's no Father Christmas either....Nasty, ain't I..Haha).x.

I remember Bert, he is great, or was I don't know.... Murial Young too, but not Pussy Cat William.
I do believe in Farther Christmas though, I went to see him in Lapland about 16 or so years ago, he is very nice.

Adam and Cliff, Englands answer to Elvis......... I saw Adam once when I worked for BBC outside Broadcasting House I also saw Cliff once whilst shopping in Walton-on-Thames where I used to live, he lived at St George's Hill, Weybridge at the time, He was just waliking around the shops as anyone would, in the 70's you could do things like that...... I doubt if he would nowadays.
Sorry, can't leave comment on your last postings...doing this at work, again (!!), and it's busier than previously..at Earls Court2...hate it !..Jobs like these, in big exhibition centres, N.E.C., Olympia, here and the like..Buuuuutttt, money's money, huh ?
See you soon.x
