Life as twisted threads

As twisted threads

Quotes, proverbs, sayings self quotes, poetry lines whatever only it is short short short :)
Yes, a little twitter inspired, to say the least, but I think it’s an healthy exercise to try to say something with meaning in just one or two lines.
So let’s try to twist our thoughts and our short reflections, like if they were threads and see what will come out of it *smile*

I do not know yet but maybe later on i propose a thread and we together go on spinning on that…in form of developing an idea..
We will see..

These are my threads, which I want to contribute with, as a start *smile*
Some of my own thoughts and reflections upon life..

Please add yours *smile*

Life is the Saga you are writing yourself and as its author you decide whether it will be a "happy ever after"

In the eyes of a child I can see a glimpse of “heaven” a wild bird in my hand make me feel it/gunilla

A new born baby is no “Tabula Rosa” it is written all over it

If there is a God, I think he is disguised as a jet in a child's eye

Love is the best investment because interest rate is so high.
but it you have just a little yourself it is hard to invest from crumbs
Then the Child become a parent refill and empties its own small capital

Never have people had so little to say as in the last decade. And they said it /unknown

Tie your friends close but keep a distance to yourself, just enough for the humour to fit in.

For each tear that is frozen there is a feeling to be melt.

A proverb is not wise because it is old, but usually because the one who coined it was

Sometimes the gray reality is reflected in our facial features. It's not just the eyes that speak The whole face is like a sad poem

Music helps. It’s like a botox injection against tired and wrinkled

Music knows the shortcut to everything we try to forget and things we love to remember

Whichever way you choose, it is still a blind date with the destiny.

To take private decisions is really life's crossroads and that without a map

I think it was the soul's desire that created the gods and eventually religions

First at the end we begin to discern the beginning. Takes a lifetime to come so far

Words can caress and open up as well as touch But they can hurt and kill too, since they are a weapons

Since the brain is a muscle it needs a little gymnastiks. Reflections is a good stretch-out

Many carries their childhood like a millstone around the neck

It's only a hair's breadth which determines, which side of life you land on. So remain humble

Leah and Al were the last threads that were woven into our common "web". *smile*

Welcome Lainey

There are not so many threads here nowadays to be twisted. But we have to take those we have and see what we can make of it ;)

hi can be such a bitch...excuse the language...and it gets real tuff sometimes...up and down...rollercoaster....i was feeling sorry for myself yesterday and then heard something that made my perspective change. an internet friend i have known for quite a while is going through some real suffering. she is the same age as me. she came down with a weird disease...she is losing her eyesite....and she went totally deaf yesterday. she has a lovely spirit and always cheerful...loves music and enjoys her friends. She is going to try an operation on her ears at a later time to maybe restore some kinda of hearing. but through it all she has kept a sense of humor...she is off fishing with her husband today. b4 she left she told us (friends) that she couldnt hear her own voice anymore...but she was singing a song anyway.... her husband came in and let her know that its the first time in 20 years she wasn't off key :)

bless all our hearts...give us courage...and help us reach out to those in need.

where's the "like" tab--oh, I have parachuted back in to ipeace :). Reading your discussion makes me smile and cry all in the same breath. When I landed on the internet, I had no experience with computers and had suffered a major shift in my life. I tried to be me, melody, and somehow became consumed by sharks...As time passed by, I became what I loath and for certain needed refuge. Now even though I continue to struggle with open relations, I know I have some really good friends who live in places I could only dream about who really care and the love given even in silence always carries me to take even another step in sharing my dreams of beauty. I support your friendship, Joni and Gunilla. I love being here and sometimes I sit and read because there are so many lessons life has a front of me. thank you, thank you for helping break constraints. (much love)

I do not know joni.
But I'm sure you know me by now..the girl behind her words :) and i think I know you and it was there we met...
There behind our fancy theories and words..We had something in common

What ever happens I will take that memory, that meeting, with me *smile*
