SPREAD THE PEACE
Life is hard, no doubt about it.
Money’s short and patience thin.
Politicians running rampant…
Why’d I ever vote for him?
Can I really make a difference?
Can I find the time and strength?
I’m just me, not rich nor famous.
Can I really create peace?
Countries’ fighting over money
Or over some religious bit
On their exclusive key to Heaven.
Too bad your key doesn’t…

If, just if....
Freedom and peace go together,
represented by us like little children joining one voice
Walking hand in hand
No-one will stop us
and God will be marching with us.

Dear Everyone
Yesterday was wonderful. My boyfriend Tony showed up after all and we went to get an appraisal for his clock. It turned out to be a copy of a 1800s German clock. Then we sat down by the water and chatted. After that we watched the last part of Tori Amos Live at Montreaux on DVD which I had bought recently. It's awesome! I got a large coke.
Today I just worked and saw my old job coach again. Then I slept and met with my sponsor Bill about the fourth step. Now I am waiting…

Removing Your Own Limits by: Marcia Johnson
As a child, I had childish beliefs; they were my own truths that I carried with me for many many years, beliefs that limited my own experiences. For example I hated to eat tomatoes, zucchini, nuts, spinach, chicken and even gravy. As I have matured, I removed my own childish limitations and beliefs that denied me the opportunity to try new things.
Growing up, I stopped myself from…

Our humanness can be compared to a battery. We have both, a negative and a positive side as well as being made up of pure energy. It is what we decide to do with our energy that defines our life experiences.
I was raised in a family with half brothers and sister as well as step siblings. There were a total of 10 children between my parents and their spouses, however at most, only three of us children lived together at a time. My younger brother was very spoiled and acted out because of…

"Desiderata" by Max Ehrmann
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become…

"Peace is more then a mere verbal utterance, more then a concept devised by four British Lads, one Ravi Shankar, and Bob Dylan having a beer at their local pub." November 21st 2007 Dann Verner
These Minstrels,Holy Men, Poets and many others with similar artistic talents and beliefs used their music, their minds, their Charisma their very souls to spread the philosophies of peace and unity.
If only we all would have listened our lives would be in much better…

Watching the documentary ‘Torfa’ about the life of a Bedouin woman of Petra, I felt a silent urge creep up on me; a yearning for the simple life. I surveyed my realm of consumerist pleasures within a comfortable home of beautiful limestone, and wondered why? Torfa had none of that. And yet she possessed an inner peace that was firmly rooted in her culture, that of Arab and Bedouin; possessing a bond with nature that I on the other hand, seem to have lost …. And as I watched her deftly spinning…

Some people feel that the world's problems are so pressing that social and political action should take precedence over individual development. They may feel that they should sacrifice their own needs completely in order to work for a larger cause. In its extreme form, this kind of thinking justifies individual neurosis and aggression as purely a product of a troubled society [...]. If we try to solve society's problems without overcoming the…

Well here it is - my first daliance with the art of blogging! What to write? The greed of the capitalist West has long concerned me - I am not going to make reactionary comments about the bourgeois fat cats finally falling off the gravy train and the system being oiled with the blood of the workers etc.
But as the system begins to crumble, the full story becomes apparent not only have the banks been recklessly doling out cash to anyone who asked for it, regardless of their ability to repay…

Greetings all!
To beginn with I must adress that my perspective comes from that of a spiritual perspective. Wich means that my belief and knowingness is that we are all part of a greater consciousness.
We are a oneness and we are separate (as in we belevie us to be separate and therefore we create that reality for ourselfes within the mind), we live in both worlds. That's my perspective.
I don't know how many share this perspective but to me that's the ground on wich I…

"When independent-thinking people and here I do not include the corporate media, begin to rally under flags...
When writers, painters, musicians, filmmakers, suspend their judgment and blindly look the aught to the service of the nation, it's time for us all to sit up and worry.
Recently those who have criticized the actions of the U.S. government, myself included, have been called 'anti-American.'
'Anti-Americanism' is in the process of being consecrated into an…

As we awaken
we begin to co-create a new world
as partners with the divine light
shining in and through each
and everyone of us
we shed our fears
we stop fighting
and we see that our shadows
are only aspects of our selves
that need nothing more than love (complete acceptance)
A global awakening
from fear and control
and falsely perceived scarcities
into love, light and abundance
releasing our greatest potential
in…

DECIDE FOR PEACE
"Dear children! May your life, anew, be a decision for peace. Be joyful carriers of peace and do not forget that you live in a time of grace, in which God gives you great graces through my presence. Do not close yourselves, little children, but make good use of this time and seek the gift of peace and love for your life so that you may become…
