Barack Obama

A new US President necessitates a new blog. I haven't written any analyses of his chart yet, because I have been hedging my bets. So please forgive and excuse anything you may have read ad nauseum in other astrological blogs about the man. Sun in Leo in his chart represents his power and charisma and the influence of the dreams of his father. Different birthtimes were mooted over the last year for him, and Astrologers settled eventually for 7.24 pm (4/8/61, Honolulu). This gives him an… Continue

To My Californian Friends

This is the text, very slightly edited for blog form, of a message I included along with a link to the Courage Campaign's Repeal Prop 8 petition web-page link, and sent to some friends of mine of who live in California this afternoon.

Have already signed the petition, though, since am a Nevadan, have scant confidence that it will qualify to be placed on the petition, and rightfully so.

Nonetheless, I think that, by sending the link to them, and by including the message to… Continue

Go Beyond Green

Green has become a reactionary force on climate issues in recent years by pushing simplistic

and ineffective solutions for the energy and climate crises. Geoengineering is a word they fear

so much they deny it very existence.

Geoengineering means looking beyond special interests or national interests

to human ecology and the needs of the biosphere.

This means disqualifying any solution that cannot be applied quickly on a global basis.

This greatly… Continue

THE POWER OF A COSMIC ORGASM

Imagine if this theory is right and I have no doubt about its pure physic

The flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil can set off a storm in Texas.

Isn't that an amazing statement? Physicists call this theory

"The Butterfly Effect" to explain how the breeze produced

by a butterfly's wings could set of a series of reverberations that over

time have a tremendous effect on weather patterns thousands of

miles away. Now imagine the impact of millions of… Continue

Israel is slipping into Racism

Many of us had left our countries of origin for Israel imbued with ideology of being part of a country full of challenges. We all felt that we could make our contribution and bring up our families here. Zionism, which is the national liberation movement of the Jewish People sought to bring the Jews back to their historical homeland where they could live in dignity, equality and under democratic rule. This is all very nice, ideological and pure – for whom?

There were all kinds of… Continue

Under The Shade of Silence

Under the Shade of Silence

I have a break under the shade of silence. I feel the soft breeze of quite thoughts, almost like, as if they donot exist. I am at the point where I donot realize the truth if there is any. I donot realize my being if I am really what I am. I am weightless, my soul flies away towards the horizon. Each time , I guess, she meets Infinity there.

Under the shade of silence, I realize the Greatness: The Humble Greatness. I am free to think what I want… Continue

Is a Binational State for Two Peoples a Solution to the Conflict?

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues to be a smoldering problem in the Middle East and remains a threat to the stability of the region. The world today has become a smaller place – a global village. The ramifications of what happens in this region affect the stability of the world. There are still no signs that a solution to this conflict is at hand. The US has decided to hold a peace conference in November with the participation of Israel and Palestine as well as invitations to the… Continue

Within The Movie

Within non-dual awareness, one understands that seeing through one’s physical eyes returns the movie-like projection of separation in an innumerable set of forms.

Thoughts equal cause. Experience equals effect. There is only one being. It is comprised of one thought. That thought is love.

The body itself then is merely a projection (effect) and not the exclusive entirety of anyone. The illusion of the body (as self) is one of identity and it is essentially made through the… Continue

PEACE POEM

In peace there is profundity
From which the highest respect arises
From respect comes power and command
Therefore observe peace.

Individualidade x Individualismo

E… Continue

To Love Someone

"To love someone is to bid them to live - invite them to grow. Since people don't have the courage to mature unless someone has faith in them, we have to reach those we meet at the level where they stopped developing, where they were given up on as hopeless and so withdrew into themselves and began to secrete a protective shell because they thought they were alone and no one cared. They have to feel they're loved very deeply and boldly before they dare appear humble, affectionate, sincere, and… Continue

Who can hear you when your hurting?

Freedom is shrinking all around us, and so is the help we recieve. Children are being used to find land mines for exemple.
Who hears those in pain without a strong enough voice to be heard all the way to the govenments that can and will help them?

Lovely branch blossoms

Several years back, during the Second Congo War, a humanitarian group called the Rural Health Care Foundation sprouted up to address health issues of the residents of Mubende, Uganda. In 2006 an international team led a fund raising effort for them, which involved someone from my area. Out of that effort, four women got together and formed a business locally to help some of the ladies there who are very talented in different crafts. They… Continue

as answer to every one about the message from Dr Justin Newman

That's what will happen with this Red Planet Nibiru,

We can add that it approximately enters to our Solar System each 25,000 years, and its depending of our behaviour and is become very related with the mental state of the humanity. It has been detected that whatever more positive is the human group, its trajectory moves away of our terrestrial orbit; on the contrary, if we were in a collective mental state sunk in the pessimism (due to wars, the bad news, diseases, misery or hunger) they… Continue

Why I'm a Pacifist

Supporters of the Peace Pledge Union make an undertaking saying that:

“I renounce war, and am therefore determined not to support any kind of war. I am also determined to work for the removal of all causes of war.”

The following was written (mostly) by a friend of mine for our local peace group, as a statement to our MP when we present him with white poppies signed by members of his constituency. I thought I’d… Continue
