25 wordy things about me.

1. Without spell checkers it would be near impossible to understand what I am typing.

2. I type fast but approach super sonic with the backspace key.

3. I try to read a lot to keep an open mind. It's seems impossible not to have an opinion about something you know a lot about. Therefore, the more that I read the more opinionated I get.

4. I like to keep a person's secrets secret. But having a wife to tell makes others secrets more difficult to keep.

5. My favorite color is green but occasionally switches to blue.

6. There is a church in Europe that has the words "It is So and cannot be otherwise". I try to keep this in mind with all things happening beyond my control.

7. In my life I've had some horrible things happen. Most of which have never come to pass.

8. The secret to life is finding joy and happiness in the changing world around us. This holds true for both people and nature.

9. Living forever is leaving the world a better place as a result of our existence.

10. I have my heroes. None of these heroes can be found at the Oscars.

11. I like cute little sayings that my grandparents had. Like "If wishes were horses than beggars would ride".

12. My favorite movie was Alien. This is why I liked it: Mankind lives beyond our current confined existence. There is life elsewhere, albeit very scary life. Stasis (of a sort) actually really works. And last but not least, Sigourney Weaver in her 20's.

13. Researching information on the internet is one of my favorite things to do.

14. Emotional fortitude is what I aspire towards.

15. Apologizing isn't easy. People that cannot, are doomed to make the same mistakes over and over. I'm learning to not make those same mistakes over and over. Therefore apologizing is no longer so difficult.

16. My family gets all the love they need, and then some.

17. Camping is a fun pastime for me.

18. I believe in a Universal Omnipotent Entity. But don't limit it's majesty by man's writings.This deity works within the physical rules of the universe. Including but not exclusively limited to quantum physics.

19. I love to drive really careful. As a result I have not had a ticket for over 20 years. My brother tells me I have a radar detector so that I know when to speed up. I really just have it for company.

20. I believe and statistics show drug war is a big waste of money. 49 Billion dollars will be spent this year by State and Federal government to fight this war. A study by the RAND Drug Policy Research Center found that treatment is 10 times more cost effective than interdiction in reducing the use of cocaine in the United States.

21. All my voting was originally republican. Now it's usually Democrat. If there was a Redemocrat I would vote for that party 100% of the time. A redemocrat would be anti gun control, limit free money to big business, work to wean our country off of oil, co-operate with global neighbors on peaceful resolutions, love the Palestinians as much as the Jews,and not back a team just because it fits our agenda.

22. I believe that government forfeit land needs to be immediately sold back to the people. If this doesn't eventually start happening, generations down the road there would be nothing left to tax.

23. Seven years ago I started investigating peak oil. Because of this I believe we are destine for serious problems if we don't change our ways.

24. Being American is a culture of it's own. This needs to be respected not changed to fit the needs of immigrating cultures.

25. The United States of America needs to lead by example. We are not our own planet.
We are part of a world family and should act accordingly.
