Another horrible day for humanity

WHY?

Please share your thoughts and feelings this morning.

No Room for Hate.

There is no room within my heart
for revenge, fire or hate
there is no room within my mind
for any thoughts like these.

I cannot find the words to say
just how it is I feel
but I know from deepest hurt
I must forgiveness find.

The hurt that’s been done to us
cuts sore like a knife,
but we must not, repay in kind
what has been done to us.

Instead we must try and find
the way that is so hard,
and reach out our loving hands
to find some friendship now.

There can be no more healing thing
than opening wide our eyes
and seeing that most other folk
are really just like us.

This first poem was written in memory of all those that died in 7/7 but equally applies to those who lost loved ones in other tragedies....

Why one asks are these people who commit such atrocities so blinded to the truth? Is it because they have forsaken The Lord for a statue of clay that cannot do anything to help or teach them right from wrong?
We have a war raging over our borders in Zimbabwe, many people have fled the country to look for peace and hope of a better future for them and their families in South Africa, many or dying from illness caused by mallnourishment and inadaquate water supply. Please lets all pray to The Lord for an end to bloodshed, violence and hatred amongst nations and its people.

Terrorists do not need a real reason to act. they are extremely fanatic, they act by the drive of emotions, and the violence is the only way they care to take as a mean to act. on their way to their evil target they'd kill innocent people on purpose , with no hesitation, as a way of life.

WHY????//// a completely rhetoric question, since no one can answer it.

Dear families, my heart goes out to you. I am sending all of you my condolences, from here, from the iPeace community, with the hope for a real peace when no more violence be in the world.

Comment by catchawave on November 28, 2008 at 7:45pm: It seems as we 'turn the corner' toward a positive existance on one side of the world, a negitive violence springs up on the other side of the world. Hopefully it is the backlash of an old order that has to fall. These people were in place at their time of fate as we all are. Many blessings for the personal sacrifice they have made for humanity, to help us locate and distinquish those terroist factions that remain. All in Divine Order.
