Christmas 2009

Dear Everyone
Despite being unable to celebrate Yule this year with my pagan boyfriend, Tony, I enjoyed Christmas very much with my parents. We went skiing on Thursday. The weather was warm and balmy and the conditions great even though it was man-made snow.
On Christmas day, we opened presents and then in the evening went to friends of the family for a nice dinner of stuffed hen and ham. We had veggies too of course. I played my acoustic guitar in the background while people chatted. I also participated in the conversation before that.
For presents I got a $30 gift card for Borders with which I bought The Ultimate BOS by Silver Ravenwolf and also The Second Omnibus of Gortrek and Felix, two characters in a series based on The Warhammer role playing game. I read Vampire Wars which was awesome. It's part of the same series but written by a different author. It's gothic fantasy at it's best.
I also got a digital camera which is awesome. I've taken some pics and so has my dad with it. I uploaded them to some of my ning sites already! I can't wait to use it to film people and myself playing music. I will put a video on Youtube if I can figure out how. Plus I got a wizard's hat, a celtic calendar, and $20. Tony treated me to the movies and some chocolate. We saw Avatar which he paid for and the gas. The last movie we saw was Sherlock Holmes which I enjoyed but he didn't. The best present of course is his love for me.
