REBIRTH PEACE
No Movement is the best metaphor of peace. Being a rock, a tree, a statue, a structure dug in the ground all have a function to “present” peace as their ultimate expression.
The metaphor of the non-movement structures in nature, like rocks and trees, teach us a profound lesson.
It is in the long pursuit of their ancient “intention” to exist in no-movement that actually allows them to last for so many years.
The rocks, especially, are most like God, as stated in the Kabbala, the teachings of ancient Jewish mysticism. . .”The rock is so overwhelmed by its awe of God that it can not move.”
The simple lastingness of their silent performance, of their mystical strength, extreme durability and eternal integrity, to be empty of anything else, allows us the perfect model or example of what Peace is.
Peace, therefore, starts as silence and no-movement, as in death. In the act of sitting we reflect the rock and tree model. We are closest to a state of complete nothingness, almost empty of life. In meditation, our breath, our blood our heart beat and our Light should be the main indication we are alive.
As in the perfect Yoga pose we are and we make the strongest statement we can; a statement of Peace; a testimony to God and to our highest Divine Self and Presence.
The wonder of this amazing thought really is a miracle, if we come to think about it, as it transcends all limitations to Being Truly Free!
The dawning of this realization transcends all else bringing harmony with every moment.
All of nature, the rocks and trees, the mountains and rivers and you and I are all energy of a unified crystal of resonating information that desperately needs the reflection of each other in order to be at peace.
This statement of Being Peace, right now, encompasses all there is and has ever been.

The power of Peace that manifests and expounds in consciousness during sitting, catalyzes a need to act.
Peace, thus, transcends, from a unified, non-moving stillness to an authentic beginning, a descent to "life", a coming forth to movement, a rebirth to work for.
Having peace, knowing peace, being peace, feeling peace, breathing peace and acting peace is why we are here.
When the meditation hour is over the greater calling pulls us to the world and the need to be co-creators of World Peace.
Thus, from unity and Oneness, we see that where Peace is needed the most is in the acceptance, reverence, love and respect for diversity.
When we move from the meditation cushion into the world the challenge we have is to take the having peace, knowing peace, being peace, feeling peace and breathing peace into daily practice.
"The yoga we practice is not for ourselves alone, but for the Divine; its aim is to work out the will of the Divine in the world, to effect a spiritual transformation and to bring down a divine nature and a divine life into the mental, vital and physical nature and life of humanity. Its object is not personal Mukti, although Mukti is a necessary condition of the yoga, but the liberation and transformation of the human being. It is not personal Ananda, but the bringing down of the divine Ananda , Christ's kingdom of heaven, our Satyayuga upon the earth." (Sri Aurobindo)
Therefore in being aware of peace at many levels of our existence, we become servants of Divine intention. We become servants or ambassadors of Peace every moment of our everyday.
When each person is at peace with themselves there is hope for the world.
We need to strive for that outcome through seeking a path of Love, Light, Holistic Health, Sharing, Right Intention, Right Livelihood and Right Meditation.
When there is chaos in our personal world going back to the cushion, turning into the rock again, we free ourselves from the problems, conditions, unhealthy attitudes, attachments and addictions that alienate us from a collective consciousness based on peaceful community.
As we make peace with our own personal issues, and focus on the serious condition of our planet and the extreme chaos and suffering that goes on all around us, human nature is moved to its awakening, to bring forth and express its God given qualities, as a way of balancing out the unfortunate, awful and disheartening events that are taking place every day.
The truth and power of our commitment to interact in these events brings out the better angels of our human nature. Through removing the artificial distinctions between us and reaching deep down into the core of our hearts we can connect with each other with great compassion, while bringing the rebirth of peace to the human condition.
