Francoise, I hope that you allow me to help you a bit with the use of the English language.
Today has brought us very good news; I just learned that Hu Jia received the Sakharov price in honour of the voiceless Tibetan and Chinese people ...Maybe I'm a little bit naive but it gives me hope that Tibet has not been forgotten and that the world will not accept these Human Rights violations. The Chinese will not like it at all and I'm a little afraid of the consequences for Hu’s situation in Prison. When Hu Jia was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, the Chinese produced a declaration telling that awarding him would mean serious consequences for his situation.
Thank you Francoise for your sweet and warm words. I was so happy to hear the news of my compagnion Hu Jia. I believe that the Chinese authorities now have to be careful about the way they treat Hu and his wife Zeng. The fact that the European Parliament has awarded him with the Sacharov price for Human Righs means that the world has a new focus on the Human Rights situation in China for the coming months. Sometimes i feel so overwhelmed with emotions when i focus on the often tragic stories of these unbelieveble courages Human beings. I work around the clock for them and for the issues they stand for. I bow deeply for these great spiritual and peaceful warriors.
Hahaha !
welcome here and hope you can a new ways to promte peace with many others. also hope we can all build an affective network to share visions and joint activies for better world
we always can do more together
Thank you for the beautiful picture of Thira; I'll cherish it between my other photos.
About peace, yes it's true, I have the feeling that something is happening right now and I think what we can do today to help can't wait till tomorrow.
Peace from Holland and thank you for adding me as a friend.

Thanks Francoise for the compliment. I guess that it will take some time before the Chinese will ease restrictions. The protests in Tibet are still going on. A journey to Mt Kailash will be an unforgettable experience! Next year i will travel with the commitee members to India to meet His Holiness, Palden Gyatso and other Tibetans. In addition we will travel the Buddhatrail. Bodhgaya etc. Foto: we're heading a demonstration a few years ago on Human Rights day in Amsterdam

Okee, I wondered already about your French name. You're right, there are so many beautiful places on this earth. And of cause we've got the responcibility to try and preserve them for the next generations. This is one of them, Kalogria on the west coast of the Peloponese. Every time i visit Greece i rest there for a few days and listen to the wonderful conversations between the owls at night.
Jasu Francoise, I read that your a citizen of my favourite European country. We visit Greece already for 35 years. Most of the time we spent on the Peloponese. This year we travelled all around the island. The foto i use on iPeace is made on the top of Monamvasia just four weeks ago. I also will add you as an iPeace friend.
