There is so much truth in that. As we wrap up another year of existence; another 12 months added to the calendar of our lives, I hope we can always remember the infinite power of LOVE even in the midst of wars, hunger and desolation. LOVE can only bring HOPE. And Hope will bring PEACE.

Thank you Patty! I truly believe that we are gently waking up from a dream in which we think we are seperate from each other. We fell asleep in heaven, but never actually left wholeness, peace, love and eternal joy! Robert, About the Island. The part of it which is hardly populated; its so amazingly beautiful, its hard to describe it with simple words. I will try to find better pictures to post them here for you :O)
My cousin owes a beach (vacation)home in that part. My sister was there 3 weeks last January; just her, husband and two small children. The whole entire beach to themselves. This was all happening while I was enduring a cold, snowy winter. Technology is a wonder: she went into town once a week and sent me beautiful pictures which of course, made my days brighter and warmer :O)

Wow Patty, That island sounds amazing! I would love to visit a place like that! When did you go there? Just vacationing? Glad that you laughed! Such good medicine! Sleepy now... Just wanted to say :-) !!!!!!!!! R

I forgot: I was thinking the other day that when speaking about my pictures and thought those to be of Montserrat; you were probably referring to one of the pictures which was a small hut, a boat and a beach? That's an island located just off the Atlantic Coast of Guatemala, just south of Belize and about 7 hours (car drive) from Cancun, Mexico. Its a very small, remote island which hardly no one knows of its existence: Livingston Island. Its a small paradise, very rural. 1/2 the island is populated by mostly African descendants which the British brought over a couple of centuries ago. They speak a dialect which is somewhat of a pitched English and their own dialect. The rest of the island is open land with its tropical climate.
A perfect hide out from the world to find solitude and peace.

I know everyone here is contributing in their own way to the Peace of the planet. I believe it is increasing exponentially, and we are well on our way to seeing Peace Prevail on Earth. But it has to start with each individual experiencing and being Peace, and then living it and encouraging all.

Most of the pictures, Robert, were taken in the ancient city of Antigua in Guatemala, Central America. This city lyes on the foothills of two volcanoes. It was built by the Spaniards in 1520. It became the first capital city of all Central America during the time when it was just one big country (it split into 5 small countries later on) The Capital City moved to its modern location after the earthquake of the 1700's, leaving Antigua in its silent valley as a standing witness of the fine line between one great culture coming to meet another great one: the Mayans. There is a pix of the Guatemala Rain Forest and the Mayan ruins of Tikal. The others pixs were taken in Nicaragua and Western USA.
