empathy is one of the most misunderstood activities; when humans misuse empathy, they actually amplify and not reduce the problem state that they think they are addressing....yet they continue in the name of empathy or compassion....but these pursuits do not diminish the ego, quite the opposite....they stregthen your committment to the ego, to unreality....

within non-duality, one innately knows that within and without are not two distinct states of existence....

the question again - which I can't answer for you - is simple: of what value is the pursuit of seeming others misery to you?....the pursuit is always a reflection of idenity or absence thereof....

whatever you answer,....peace with you always and in all ways...

The question might be: what is the value of a particular focus to you? It never was about the world in view or the seeming others, that's the illusion. It was always about Willem's identity. One lives in their thoughts, specifically those pertaining to their identity; the projection then follows.

So, yes, you are personally responsible for what you are seeing and experiencing. But, that world begins within you.

And, for your 2nd question, there is no difference between individual or collective guilt - they are equally delusional - a false reality.

Warning: the ego will find my words to you positively insane....yet, I'm not unaware of the paradoxical nature of what I'm telling you....despite the ego's protests, however, test the ideas by how you personally feel within them....; if you peace identifying and chasing culprits, then run with it....neither would i nor could i take that away from you....

note - there is NOTHING reconcilable between the ego's way of seeing and non-duality (or reality)....; lifetimes attempting this reconciliation yield absolutely nothing but time spent....

the situation has to change before we can go there, I don't think we can get easealy visa ( specially french people..) Do you heard recently a french was travelling for buseness to China and at the border they open his laptop and search for words like Tibet or Dalai Lama...They are checking a lot who goes there .But life is full of surprises and I really want it.For the time I will go again to Ladakh the 3 month of winter time from monastery to monastery with the mountains, so I don't complain ...I love this place.

Venlo is inderdaad niet ver weg en inderdaad heb ik mijn leven aan de kunst gewijdt.
Dat betekent niet , dat ik graag voor mensenrechten "ga".
Het een sluit het ander niet uit; zo ben ik al heel veel jaren lid van Amnesty, maar graag zou ik me verder in willen zetten voor de mensenrechten.
Ik moet gewoon wat meer tijd vrij maken, omdat ik elke week vol zit met cursussen.
