Hope is shaped around the knowledge and ideas of Willy Whitefeather,
a man in his sixties of Cherokee ancestry, a fascinating storyteller, healer, survivalist and an individual of wisdom and heart. Using traditions and stories from Native American and world cultures, the film combines dreams, images and reminiscences from our collective memory to send a message of hope for the future. Now is the time to reconnect with Spirit, to recognize the effects of our actions, to evaluate the underlying causes of suffering and to reshape our life and our world into a harmonious one.

The animated scenes are in styles reminiscent of Pueblo pottery design, Sioux painted hides, Petroglyph drawings and Hopi mural paintings. The soundtrack is similarly layered with the sounds of a beating heart, breathing, wooden flutes, drums, rattles, a traditional Cherokee lullaby and original music. Hope urges us to change course and follow a path of wisdom, responsibility, beauty, simplicity and gentleness.

"HOPE has two children. The first is ANGER at the way things are. The second is COURAGE to DO SOMETHING about it."-St. Augustine

Education is The Way to Compassion; Compassion is The Way to Change and that is why I wrote KEEP HOPE ALIVE and "Memoirs of a Nice Irish-American Girl's Life in Occupied Territory

Unsolicited Book Reviewer -who I later found out was Jewish wrote:

"At first I thought this had something to do with the famous line of Jessie Jackson. I'm delighted to say it is much, much more. The author shows that there are many people from all over the world who are moving in the right direction to establish peace in the Middle East. The organization Olive Trees Foundation for Peace/OTFFP is Arabs, Jews, and Christians who have formed a non profit non political group who have one goal; to have Israelis and Palestinians live side by side in peace.

"These are people from all walks of life who are committed to changing the area into a peaceful region. Social movements like this grow until finally government jumps on-board. As dialogue continues to grow on this subject government will be forced to rethink its approach to the region. This is a book that should be read by anyone does not believe there can be peace in the Middle East. It should also be included in schools and on the college level to help focus on how the area can move toward peace." – Gary Roen www.midwestbookreview.com:

Let us rejoice the day and the moment in history's wake.

Tomorrow will arrive too soon and the work will become arduous.

That was a very well produced and meaningful video. Words aren't always needed to convey one's thoughts and desires. Hopefully, some day we will have a true Native American as our leader. I think that then we will stand tall with Mother Nature and speak of respect for all her beauty and wonder.Oft times the wise ways of the ancestors speak louder than the electronic supersonic boombox blasters of today.
