Tão distante da compreensão humana estas palavras! São óbvias, claras e concordantes para todos nós este discurso belíssimo, mas quem é que impede a verdadeira ação contra a Paz?
A Paz começa dentro das pequenas sociedades, na nossa família, no nosso mais restrito círculo de amizade, no nosso relacionamento de trabalho, mas quando chega a realização do que julgamos certo para nós, lutamos a todo preço para ganharmos a pequena causa. E aí vem a disputa, as vozes que aumentam o tom, a louca vontade de provar que estamos certos, a raiva, as incoerências, as nossas justiças pessoais.
Estou certa que é um círculo de fogo que acaba por nos ferir e impedir qualquer tipo de Paz. Pena!

for reminding again me this morning of how powerful.Robert's words continue to be.
I remember sitting that day in the chapel at the University of Maryland,
with many, many other students,
the riots just over the hill having subsided,
tears streaming down our faces.
