John Lennon and Yoko Ono used their honeymoon at the Amsterdam Hilton, in March 1969, as a "Bed-in for Peace" that attracted world-wide media coverage. At the second "Bed-in" in Montreal, in June 1969, they recorded "Give Peace a Chance" in their hotel room. The song was sung by over half a million demonstrators in Washington, D.C. at the second Vietnam Moratorium Day, on 15 October 1969.

I have a feeling you have been born into a generation that will be even more exciting than that generation. Hopefully the generation that actually GETS what John was trying to teach us. So many of my generation seem to have forgotten and have become Yuppies, seeking greed and materialism.

Kenny Loggins was popular for awhile, but most people only concentrated on his bubble gum movie music and didn't delve into the heart behind his music. Here is a good example that follows John's basic vision:

Hope you can see how they both tie together.
