Thanks for inviting me, Alessandro.
It is our duty to do all we can to save the earth. It does not belong to us, we are here only for a limited period of time and we have to look after it, cherish , respect it and not destroy it.

we must protect our planet.

one way to do this is stop eating meat, or eat less meat. Meat production uses land inefficiently, when compared with grain production - it takes much more land and water to feed a person a meat-based diet, than it does to feed a person a non-meat-based diet. this means that not only are we wasting more land and water, but we are actually feeding less people with the land and water we are using.

Meat production also releases many tonnes of methane into the atmosphere - a huge contributor to global warming. Intensive meat production plays a massive role in global warming.

Cutting down on your meat consumption will also help to keep you healthy. Animal proteins contain cholesterol and saturated fats - big contributors to the growing numbers of cases of obesity, heart disease and cancer in the western world.

If you want to look after yourself, your children, and our planet, give it a try!
Start cutting down on your meat consumption, and just think about all the positive effects it is having. :-)
