When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
Human Rights
So what is it?
Failure to acknowledge that all should be treated equal
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Hatred
More
Learned hatred from generation to generation in some parts of the world...whereas in the 60"s interracial dating wasn't in and there was plenty of hatred towards those that pursued though they were harassed as were their off-springs. Now...look at society today...more mixed marriages and acceptance ... I know for a fact...I am married to a Japanese, another brother to an Icelandic and yet another married to a lovely woman from Panama....Mom was dead set against the dating...the marriage, but when they had a baby girl...the walls came tumbling down...Home Town - Waterloo, IA
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
41+ years in the military (Retired Veteran) and Government Employee in the fields of resource management, public services, youth programs...not to mentioned a well seasoned traveler...who is now, working as the Educational Director of an International Japanese English Elementary School...teaching English Subjects and Music Appreciation. Love cultural diversities, photography, music and meeting people.
