We rowed for nine days on the St-Lawrence river from Kahnawake to Quebec city, close to 300 kms, though storms, waves, winds, rains, cold, burning sunshine, and amazing beauty. Five canoes and their teams with a few vehicles on the road took part, including around 30 people of different Native and non-Native nations..
At the Odanak 50th pow wow, we were received with great honors in the grand entry procession as well as on stage. The grand chief Rick Obomsawin accepted our flag that… Continue

Newly released, this is Nuevo Flamenco music at its finest, with a mystical weave of Bruce BecVar's gypsy guitar and vocals with Aurora's.... along with a host of talented musicians like Tito La Rosa, Rafael Padilla, Rachel Handlin, Michael Buono, Brian BecVar, and Don Lax
I have been watching something on iPeace that seems very interesting....the reaction you get based on the picture you put on your site....I have seen beautiful women and gone to their site to see how much friend reaction they receive...have also watched old men...old women...and beautiful image sites.....I do not guess that there is anything wrong or right about this...just human nature....it just seems odd that it not only has so much to do with face to face encounters...where both people are… Continue
President Obama finds himself in a bit of a bind when it comes to Iran. And the dilemma he faces is not unlike that faced by many policy makers when it comes to the Middle East. Who do you support, the government, or the people?
When he ran for the Presidency, Obama vowed to negotiate with Iran’s leaders with respect to such contentious issues as their nuclear weapons program, and their support for terrorist groups. And at the time, the prospect of using diplomacy as an olive branch,… Continue

M
y beautiful Paloma, there was a time in my life when I was not calm. I was a vessel with a tattered sail tossed about in an ominous sea.
As a young man, I had become quite restless and when I finally was of age I went to sea. It was no place for a young boy, but the closeness to death every week helped me grow the body of a man and the mind followed. We were a rough bunch and I always tried to remain a… Continue

This evening I took a life weary friend to a jazz concert, when she pushed the mustang’s window button it fell into the door. My friend became even more discouraged, as she took it as a sign of even more bad luck. I figured it punctuates my desire not to sell it. Either that or I am only suppose to drive in it alone. Fun being my raison d’etre I prefer to think it means I can’t possibly sell the car. We did enjoy the concert which was really one of Jazzy standards and caught up over… Continue

Dear Nelson Mendela, You have taught us a forgotten lesson of love, peace, patience and justice. May God bless you and us so that we may carry this torch and forward it to new generations.

Communing With The Universe The Power Of Oracles and quantum science
by Dr. Asoka Selvarajah
Until recently, scientists were giving us an increasingly mechanistic view of the Universe. The "billiard ball" model of reality - namely, that certain knowable causes always give rise to certain predictable effects - increasingly dominated all areas of our society. Scientists expected that one day, they would have a complete explanation for ALL phenomena. God… Continue

Am I too talented for love?
Am I too far up above?
Am I in romantic outer space
Far above the human race?
How much of a potential girlfriend’s “I love you”
Is actually true?
Whether or not romantic love is mine
Seems to depend on me being fine.
True love forever should be,
You see.
True love is clear,
But breaking up is a pain in the rear.
