How George W. Bush Happened

Love him or hate him ... collectively, we voted overwhelmingly to elect him at least once.



He was opinionated, acted from the gut rather than planning, led and compelled with raw emotion and pronounced judgment on anyone he deemed to be a threat.



But why did we elect someone like that? I believe it's because he was representing the world.

Golden Calf

I just had a funny thought while I was making my protein shake / coffee thing.



For some reason I was thinking about that old story about the golden calf, and how people were worshiping it. Am I the only one who thought it was really weird that they picked a calf? Of, course in Sunday school that question was not fielded particularly well, so I pretty much just dropped it.

Distance, Space and Time

I was thinking about the principles and conditions of space and time and how they relate to energy and matter... this applies to not just science and physics, but to human relationships as well.
