I was thinking about the principles and conditions of space and time and how they relate to energy and matter... this applies to not just science and physics, but to human relationships as well.

I see this happen very often ... some person or group, be it an individual, a country, a gender group, etc ... want to affect change at a distance while treating the intermediate space as meaningless or ineffectual. It's exactly this mindset that creates the resistance to accomplishing the change.

Imagine if NASA operated this way. Ok, so we want to send a rock to Mars. Simply locate Mars and throw the rock to it. Mission accomplished, right? I think we know better by now.

No Space is Empty.

Any space that exists in the Universe is full of something, whether it be light, heat, electromagnetism or matter, and when it comes down to brass tacks, it's all just one field of energy (folded in three-dimensional space) oscillating at various frequencies. These various frequencies are what give us our different states of matter. Imagine for example that in the beginning there was nothing but energy. This infinite energy field had no frequency whatsoever, so it could not have appeared as anything. As frequency (being male/female bow/crest or vice versa) was introduced, this caused waves of celestial light (possibly shimmering like a wavy ocean from a deep view), which caused chain reactions of energy and electromagnetism which ultimately caused eddying 3+ dimensional pools of matter and energy to develop their own vibrational structure, which expressed itself to the microcosmic level as elements and their various phases. This all occurred based on reactions of the one total energy field with itself. I think it's like String Theory or something.

Humans as Celestial Bodies

Human relationships are no different. We are each the result of everything that has every been. Everything that we change affects much more than we could predict. The best way to affect change at a distance is to understand what holds it in its place. Next, it's important to understand the relationship of ourselves and what holds us in relative position to the thing we are trying to change. Finally, it's necessary to understand the intermediate forces (or local expression of the one Force) in between.

Human Rubik's Cube

In many cases, it's impossible to change something at a distance without changing something in between and something locally. Think of it like a Rubik's Cube. Imagine that you wanted to move half of the orange squares to join half of the blue squares without breaking the rules of the Cube. First, it would be impossible because each side has an odd number of squares, but let's ignore that. The point is...that by ignoring the state of the intermediate sides (the yellow, white, green and red sides), it is impossible to change either the self or the target.
