Another horrible day for humanity

WHY?

Please share your thoughts and feelings this morning.

No Room for Hate.

There is no room within my heart
for revenge, fire or hate
there is no room within my mind
for any thoughts like these.

I cannot find the words to say
just how it is I feel
but I know from deepest hurt
I must forgiveness find.

The hurt that’s been done to us
cuts sore like a knife,
but we must not, repay in kind
what has been done to us.

Instead we must try and find
the way that is so hard,
and reach out our loving hands
to find some friendship now.

There can be no more healing thing
than opening wide our eyes
and seeing that most other folk
are really just like us.

This first poem was written in memory of all those that died in 7/7 but equally applies to those who lost loved ones in other tragedies....

My heart goes out to the not so fortunate in Mumbai and I pray that happiness returns to each and every family affected.

Again I say - most of the death and destruction in our world is in the name of religion. How sad that is.....

I watch the news broadcasts with pain and disbelief. why do we keep doing this to each other? When will we learn?

My therapy was to watch the DVD Peace One Day, recently purchased due to an ad on ipeace. Much hope there! Great to watch the determination of one man with a vision in the face of the horror of the news. I strongly recommend this DVD ,
