No Room for Hate.

There is no room within my heart
for revenge, fire or hate
there is no room within my mind
for any thoughts like these.

I cannot find the words to say
just how it is I feel
but I know from deepest hurt
I must forgiveness find.

The hurt that’s been done to us
cuts sore like a knife,
but we must not, repay in kind
what has been done to us.

Instead we must try and find
the way that is so hard,
and reach out our loving hands
to find some friendship now.

There can be no more healing thing
than opening wide our eyes
and seeing that most other folk
are really just like us.

This first poem was written in memory of all those that died in 7/7 but equally applies to those who lost loved ones in other tragedies....

These scences of sheer horror struck me last night when I was watching the news. Put simply, I just can't understand how humans can do this to each other. It's so saddening.

Much love to all,

Namaste,

I pray for the souls of the perpetrators of this violence that their hearts may be softened and they may see the light.

I pray for those who were caught up in this violence and injured or killed, and for their families that they may receive love and peace.

I pray for humanity that we may all find the light and stop this senseless violence and war and greed. I pray that we will all become tolerant of others and learn to share with each-other.

Peace, Light and Love

I agree with Muhamamd Moosa Rind
If not removed, PLEASE add other pictures to create more balance, showing the people, coming together.
Or we reward these acts with attention towards them, and not, with how the mission fails, by the people coming together.

Religons and leaders control through fear. Fear dims the light that is with in us. Fear comes from being willingly ignorant. Pray for knowledge for all, do not sink into fear that only breeds ignorance and hate. Bring forth a brighter light of love and knowledge. I have been exposed to this first hand. So I feel pain, but it does not over come me for I do not fear it. Time to shine and have faith in that Power that only together can we bring forth a better world. Namaste

Another terrible happening like so many in worlds history. Only love, understandings and forgiveness can heal mankind. It's our all responsibility to go the way of love and bring peace to the world. Hate is a terrible sickness
what can only be heal through love. Love has the power to forgive and love has the energy to get the knowledge.
Let's work together to make a peaceful world possible. Thanks to you all.

I have been a victim of years of what I can only call acts of terrorism.
I felt that the objective in my case was to instill trauma, or terror.
The only way I found to fight it was to build peace within and rebuild what was destroyed, faster, than these could be destroyed.
That is one way to defeat terror, with peace, because it failed to get what it was after.

The other way to fight it, is to find out why it is done, and show them there is a more effective way to communicate, that it is the wiser, that can find the right way to say what needs to be said, with words, or deeds, or example, than with bullets. Just as it is said here, they destroy their own mission, of being heard, because no message is heard, other than their violence.
And the best way to respond is as those are doing here, sending prayers to those most effected, sending them peace any way we can, in the battle of terrorism, peace can defeat it, and the right thing, to fight back with. (loved ones murdered, I speak from experience, and, I won).
