CHINA Photography show of Stephanie Seymour in Italy - TV filming the show

Just in case you are in town (Castiglione del Lago, Perugia, Italy - a town on Trasimeno Lake) please come to my show Incontri ravviCINAti, which starts on Saturday at 4pm.
I will feature more than 80 photographs of the people I stopped in shops, on the streets, on work sites, to smile - a wonderful experience, both of us curious of the other, and willing to share the moment together with the snap of my camera.

As in the story group, I love to get people together, to accept one another, to know one another. I hope (as I stated in the press release sent to the newspapers, websites) that my show helps people to be more sensitive and to stimulate them to find similarities between people of different culture and history. And as I said on the story page, I get so much from seeing people smile at the people smiling in my photos. You are ALL welcome to attend!

Comment by Stephanie on June 22, 2009 at 11:57pm: Isn't this just a grand palace!! The building is by the lake near the town I live in, Trasimeno Lake. The show contains 82 photographs of people I stopped on the street, in shops, in construction sites. And I received smile after smile, and gave plenty of smiles as well. My main enthusiasm was discovering how without speaking I could comunicate and receive all that friendliness - it was the beginning of learning about others, in a country that we have much to learn about.
Now I correspond to several people there, and the curiosity on both parts is very strong, and fascinating.
I always say, first, let's give friendship a chance, and then, when we have opened the door, we can start discussing more serious aspects. First a smile, and then, friendship will start to grow, and everything is possible, even discussing our differences.
