The Tree of iPeace

I came to iPeace
I came after doing a search for it in the ning network.
I was almost willing to start it if it did not already exist, feeling almost pressured to do so.
It was not meant for me to be the one to do this, and I know that so I was very relieved when I found someone else had done so.

Here is part of the wisdom of that.
I am defending iPeace, and if I had started it, it would look different, as though I was protecting my own interests rather than the intention of iPeace and the site itself.

I have an inbox, with close to 2000 request to join groups, and other sites and networks.
I have been to very many of these and some I have joined because they were started by friends of mine.
The ones that get the most of my attention, secondary to iPeace, is because they have a link on the side bar,
TO iPEACE.

This site is new, compared to many I have been to.
This means it is young, and going through normal phases of its growth, and refinements also.
It will have its share of problems, and I will ride those out.

But this is about the Tree that iPeace IS.
We can form our own separate ning sites, and invite others to join,
but I do not do that, because this is for me, the center.
I do not wish to divide it, and lure others away from here so "my" site will be "special"
And then all those who come here end up in a thousand different places each specialized, but with those who come here, being more distracted by the special interest sites, and no activity HERE.

So those who send me offers, on THIS site, to join their sites?
Often the main reason I do not do so, is because iPeace is not even mentioned on your sites.
We need a strong "center", not to divide the people of peace.

If you feel you have something along the same lines as iPeace, then instead of opening another site?
Please consider opening a group HERE instead?

There are other locations I have joined that I do not go back to because I am on dialup,
and some of these places have so many heavy images on the side bar alone it requires 20 minutes or MORE,
just to go to ONE page!
I have to work for a living also, I cannot, no matter my hearts intention or desire, sacrifice my own growth, to take part in discussions on those sites.
I can do so here because care has been used to make this site user friendly to the poor, such as those who are limited to access on dialup.

Please, we need a central place, and in my example, I give iPeace the most of my attention, to help it become stronger. I may join other sites once I upgrade my internet speed, but I wish to give iPeace my central focus.
As the the Tree with many branches, I wish to give the tree my strength and help it to grow, not the branches to become stronger than the trunk.
And as soon as I have time to do so, I will be leaving other groups who have links here or invited me from here to join their sites, but have NO links on them back to here nor honor this site, that they came to seeking new members.

If this one has problems? I will give those who run this site time to work through them.
So long as the main intention of this site holds true, so too will I to its purpose.
And I will give it the most of my attention, that it may be a center of the other sites.
And again, it is my hope even if others open new ning sites, that you would also open a group HERE, that I may be able to join you if I wish, WITHOUT leaving iPeace.

I will give iPeace every single chance I can for its success, I am here for the long haul, may iPeace exist and grow for many many decades to come!
Again, please respect my wishes, and do not feel hurt if THIS is the place, that has most of my focus so it may grow stronger, as the center. Rather than be pulled, away from it and we the people become divided and the center forgotten.
