I would love to begin a conversation with you----and could you please refrain from putting so many pictures about the ocean on my site. My right brain says simple beauty is best. I have 700 acres of protected land to feast my eyes on.
Friendship accepted. Let's keep it simple!

Larry----I really appreciate the commitment that you are making to helping people become more aware---AND ACTIVE----about the pollution that goes on in the ocean. As someone who lived in Santa Cruz, CA for 30 years and LA (yuck) for 3 before that I have a deep sense and reverence for your passion to save the beings of the waters and the waters themselves.

I feel, however, that so often we put the cart before the horse. Let me explain. My son-in-law co-owns an environmental business that gets contracts from governments and private businesses to clean up the messes that they have made around the world----for example Guam, Pearl Harbor and Puerto Rico. I keep questioning him about what can be done to make the users of the resources we have been gifted so that "clean-ups" were not so needed. He says that often he is asked to redesign the area for easier clean-up after they have done their initial reparation.

His answer didn't satisfy me, but it caused me to more deeply think about the answers within myself. Sooooo....I realize that what we need is more connection with our own life and the lives of others on the Earth---human or otherwise. I LOVE iPeace because it is giving me that chance to CONNECT in very REAL WAYS with people who have similar and different views than my own. I have taken the time to explore those views and deeply connect with a few of the people around the world. I am going slowly---not trying to rack up a "list of friends", but rather BECOME FRIENDS with a variety of people when I am inspired to do so. You inspired me and I reached out---TO YOU! I would like, at least initially to KNOW ABOUT YOU, not necessarily YOUR CAUSES. WHO ARE YOU? Perhaps I should have been more clear in the beginning. Thank you for pushing me toward more clarity. That's what is missing in our schools, in our homes and even within our independent interactions, in my opinion. It is the human quality of our interactions that we have nearly lost in our culture of grasping for money, love, and yes, even causes. So, if you choose, I would like to begin to dialogue with the person BEHIND the cause of cleaning up the oceans. That would be YOU! Again, who are you really? Tell me if you choose...... And then I might even be inspired to join YOU in your cause-----joyfully

I am bringing you some JOY! Do with it whatever you choose. Did the cats curl up like that all by themselves or did you "configure" them into yin/yang? Not that it matters. Your point is sweet and well-taken. I am beginning to understand that both parts within me are always active----I can switch between them at will and even be in both of them at once! That is REALLY A KICK IN THE BUTT! Kind of like making love and having a baby at the same time..... Not sure why I am saying all this, but you must have inspired it because it's not my usual style. The yin is hugging the yang and the yang is ????? The result is pretty outrageous. Thanks! joyfully

Dear Larry,
I literally was just looking at your profile and even sent your quote to a friend of mine:

They say love hurts.

That's not the truth.

Betrayal hurts,
Rejection hurts,
Loneliness hurts,
Losing someone hurts.

We confuse these things... with love.

Reality is, LOVE is the only thing
in this world that makes us feel
wonderful again...

i want wonderful

So crazy wonderful how we are all connected. Thank you for your wall post so interesting and informative! I love all the pictures but have to say, the picture with the woman on the beach staring at the ocean is my favorite :)

Sweet Larry, I am a walking light of peace. When my soul needs to be replenished, I walk along the sandy beach, Rodeo Beach, San Francisco, close my eyes and in hearing the sound of the waves, feeling the wind, seeing colors of reds and gold, I become ONE with all. It is here that all is perfect. I photograph the sunsets more than any other subject. The ocean is home for me. Blessings to you on this day of love and may HIS peace be with you. Hi Larry,
thanks' for your message ! I love the commandant Coustau and all he did to awaken people to the beauty of the Oceans , as a kid I use to watch every week on T.V. his programs. I went to your website and I am also very grateful for everything you do to help save our beautiful planet !
Did you see the documentary "earthlings" posted by "One" on IPeace, this is also a very eye opening video, and a good way to motivate change ! I really recommend it !
